The receptionist is incredibly rude and needs training in customer service. The hairdresser’s are lovely but the receptionist is patronising and condescending. They have tarnished the entire experience. I absolutely will not be returning and would rate zero stars if I could.
Booked a last minute appointment for my daughter. She's been wanting to have her hair cut short for ages. Catherine made hed wish come true. She loves her new hair and Catherine told her how to look after it and what products to use. A lovely place and friendly staff. Thank you Catherine, she will be back.
I popped in today impulsively. My hair is difficult to cut as it’s thick and wirey and my last hair stylist is too far away. I explained my hair situation to Helen and she nailed it! I’m so happy with my new hair do! Really good value too! Highly recommended!!
My first time here and I had an outstanding experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. My stylist, Liam, took the time to listen to my preferences and offered valuable suggestions on the colour and cut. The result was beyond my expectations – a stylish short haircut and colour that perfectly suits my personality and skin tone. The salon itself is clean and has a buzzing positive atmosphere. I highly recommend Scissors. Definitely returning for future appointments!
On & off I've been a customer of Steve & Co for over 30yrs (Ouch) Steph does her magic every 6wks for me. She's adorable, professionally & personally. I would recommend her 10/10. And as I tell Her every visit, she's cheaper than Counselling. Lovely friendly juniors too. WELL DONE. Be proud of yourselves xXx
I asked for just the very ends off my ‘all one length’ hair. I got given a really choppy, layered, haircut. Not once was it mentioned that I wanting it layering, and I wasn’t asked before she proceeded to do it! I would have complained, but what would they do? Can’t stick it back on! Left wanting to cry. To add insult to injury, the finish was awful! Straighteners not used and left with frizzy hair and a haircut I hadn’t asked for. Absolutely would not recommend or return.
I went here and the staff were all very kind, but if you go here explain your haircut clearly because I was given the wrong kind of cut and got a womanly bob instead of what I thought I’d asked for. Still giving 3 stars because staff were lovely and tbh I didn’t bring a picture, so maybe it’s on me.
I came to Scissors for the first time today to have my hair cut to donate. All the stylists in the salon were so professional and lovely people. They made me feel so relaxed at a nerve-wracking chop! The stylist was excellent and I am so happy with my new do!!!
Got my hair from a very dark purple to a lovely blonde in one session. Staff were lovely and determined to impress their customers. Definitely would recommend.
