   On holiday in an area we did not know at all, we relied on Google to find a garage when we had the battery fail on our car. I found Car Mate the reviews were good and appeared to be genuine and was only three miles from the caravan site we were staying at. I can only say the service was excellent a new battery was obtained for me and was fitted while I waited the following day. This was a small workshop and service station still manned by REAL mechanics, not reaching for the nearest PC for fault diagnosis. After being involved in the motor trade for twenty years before retirement I have no hesitation in recommending this business.

   Fast, good, and reasonably priced. I called on Tuesday, car booked in for Thursday, fixed that day. I had an issue with the boot being stuck shut which meant I couldn't add coolant. They not only got into it to fix the main issue. they also repaired the wiring without needing replacement parts so it was much cheaper and faster than I expected

   Can't rave about this guys enough, always really helpful and friendly. Don't try to rip you off, finally found a garage i trust. Taken both my cars here over the years, one was very old and hadn't been looked after but they kept it going. Also great after service, when warning lights would come on my old banger they'd run diagnostics and show me what was wrong, at one point letting my know i could change a broken sensor myself and save money, which i did. The only thing they're not hot on is updates/communicating progress or letting you know how long they'll keep a car for but now i know that, i factor that in and really dont mind as they're too busy fixing and doing a great job.

   Fitted a new alternator on my car same day and under their estimate, which is always a bonus! They also offered after care with help setting my radio back up. Very friendly service so I will return, hopefully not too soon though!
