What a lovely garage! Took my car in for a dent in the door to be repaired and some paintwork on my wing mirror. The price was reasonable, the workmanship brilliant and lovely helpful staff too. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Found that the car was completely dead and suspected battery. Popped in to see the guys who immediately said they'd looked into the problem. Car still stuck on my driveway so they walked over (live fairly close). They tried to get the battery going but to no avail. It took 3 of them to push the car to garage!! They swung into action sourcing a new battery and keeping me informed all the time. Fitted the battery and reset all the sensors. Really reasonable price and a great service. Would definitely recommend.

I rang and booked an appointment with Broad Lane Garage. The staff are friendly and polite. I took my car for a traction light problem. Dropped it off Monday morning at 8 A.M am for diagnostics. Diagnostics was done, problem was identified and I was told right side sensor needs replacing and would cost £180+vat and the total cost including Labour (£84 per hour) will be £480, which I agreed to. Got called on Tuesday and told that the part been fitted but its not calibrating i.e. not talking to computer and they will check Wednesday morning. Thursday got a call from Scott, saying the dealer did not send them the full part and hence they have ordered the other part via express delivery. I advised that I need the car definitely for Friday as needed to do shopping and few other bits. I called on Friday at 11 am to get an update and the missing part still not arrived. I advised that I will come and get the car at 1 am and return Monday at 8 am for fixing. Went to pickup the car at 2:30 pm as advised. I was presented with £480 bill :( I asked I will pay the full bill when the car gets fixed. I was told what if you decide not to come back. I told I will as I needed it fixed and wanted to pay part payment. I was then told that the other part has arrived today now and that would cost me another £224+vat.. that will push my bill to around £750 I was shocked, told them we agreed on £480 which is still a lot of money for this job and you are asking me to pay you the full bill with my car problem still there and on top wanted to charge another £200+ This is ridiculous. I asked Scott to put back my original part and I will only pay for diagnostics which we agreed at £70 + vat but he added another labour charger etc.. so the total I paid was £144 without any fix and my original problem as it was when I originally gave my car. Very disappointed with a local Garage which I tried first time and would have liked to go again and again which is not happening now. Personally, a very polite team but professionally speaking its a rip off. I won't go there again, nor recommend them to anyone else. Rest is your choice if you want to try them! Good Luck!
