   I had the unfortunate experience of a flat car battery at home. My breakdown company arranged Damien D'Souza from Automania to attend, I waited a couple of hours for the engineer to arrive. I was kept informed of times etc, this very pleasant chap turned up, it was Sunday 28/9, I had planned to go out for breakfast to treat myself, even though it had rained all morning. He asked me a few questions, got straight to the job, we had a chat while he charged my battery, he said he had a really busy morning & of course not great in the rain. I said well this jobs in the dry! He said it may not start after the charger was removed, luckily my Hyundai powered into life! He looked up where I would get a new battery that day, recommended I go straight away, as my charge may not continue. Showed me prices, info he had looked up on his phone & what I needed to do when I arrived at a local Halfords. He was extra attentive, I had told my breakdown company i suffer anxiety when faced with stressful situations & I think this is why he took time to explain to me. I was very grateful for the time & care he took, he is a credit to Automania Group Ltd. I would recommend this company, based on my experience on 28/9. I paid for the call out, gave the guy 'a drink', customary in my family, my late parents were in the motor trade. I asked for a paper invoice which duly arrived in a couple of days. Although I was very anxious when my car wouldn't start, due to my lack of mobility I rely on my car so much & I worried how I would manage the next day. He made the whole experience easier with his thoughtful manner & professionalism. My little car has been given a new lease of life since my new battery was fitted.

   My insurer uses Automania for breakdown. My battery flattened whilst I had my car power on to charge a USB port. Automania came out within 40minutes and helped me charge the battery to get my car up and running again. He was very polite and professional and we had a good chat whilst we waiting for power to the car. Didn't catch his name but was at 3pm 6th Aug in RG4.

   Avoid this company at all costs, absolute waste of time. Took 7 hours to get a recovery vehicle to me through my breakdown insurance. If you ring them up they are just full of excuses. Seems like they prioritise certain jobs over others!

   Automania is the service provider of AutoTrust to offer breakdown service. A puncture from wednesday night still unresolved on Saturday, as the company decides to deliver a different solution (which does not work) to what is agreed with the call center. The vehicle had to be towed away on Thursday, instead the operator used my own foam kit. Which failed the next day. We are now saturday and the tow truck had instructions to take me to a kwik fit, while I have already purchased tyre and foam kit at the garage where I was told twice my vehicle should be taken to. They repeatedly fail to inform the customer or the service provider about these discrepancies ahead of time. I am very frustrated by a pathetically low level of service. Avoid if you can.

   Called my rescue service as I had a flat battery in January 2022. they sent Automania out. My five year old battery had completely had it. So the Automania engineer asked if I would like to purchase a new battery as he had one in his van. I agreed to purchase the new battery, and it was fitted by the Automania engineer, (an Exide with a 3 year warranty) I carried on using my car as I normally do over the last five years, but if I left this battery for two weeks it would end up flat, not like my old battery that would be fine after leaving it for two weeks. I called Automania to see if they could come and test the battery and replace it under warranty. But the customer service person said I would have to call my rescue company, to call Automaina out to look at the battery. Why, my rescue company didn't fit the the new battery, Automania did, so its up to them to come out under the battery warranty to find out if the battery is faulty or my charging system. I was told on the phone that my mileage must be wrong on my vehicle as it is low for the age of the vehicle, well maybe they should come and look instead of making accusations about how I use my vehicle. So don't buy anything from Automania that has a warranty, as they don't seem to Honour it

   My car ignition system failed with the wheels locked at an angle. kelvin did a fantastic job getting the car onto his flat bed and even more impressively managed to drop it in exact position requested by the garage with out the aid of the steering. Great friendly service. Thanks

   First of all MOT took 6 days. No updates from the garage, I had to call myself each day and felt like I was a bother to the person on the phone. I mean, my company car that I use to do my actual job is gone for 6 days straight, why would I be eager to know such information? When I finally received the vehicle, my back seat looked like someone had a mud fight in there! I mean look at the state of it! That is taking an absolute liberty at this point. I will get my company to book elsewhere next time for sure!
