   Had an MOT booked in this morning amazing service from Charlie on the desk and Victor who did the MOT for me, Charlie helped save me a lot of money by joining the Halfords platinum membership club. Thank you for that Charlie, Victor who did the MOT was lovely. Advised me what needed doing, I’ve got it all booked in for in two weeks time.    Its very easy to complain about bad service and not praise great service Today I experienced top drawer customer service from start to end. Went in for an mot that I booked online and although they where running a little behind I was kept informed and offered complimentary hot drinks to pass the time. I waited whilst it was being done and was kept informed at every stage and also once finished I was told some improvements and preventative maintenance that could be useful to me and explained in a way that was very easy to understand. I want to make a special mention to victor and Ali for being so helpful and even staying late to get my mot finished, Charlie was top drawer as well, nice positive friendly person to greet you overall a really great experience and if you need work doing to your car I would very happily recommend

   Booked an MOT, arrived half an before the scheduled time only to be told they can't do it because their shutter is broken - can't get cars in and out of the garage. I was told ,"I thought we'd let everyone know". Waste of time and now stressed to search for another garage asap as my MOT is expiring in 4 days time.

   We booked to have our tyres inspected / changed because one of them was going flat. Whilst the appointment took a bit longer than they had estimated, the staff were extremely helpful. They showed us a video of the nail in the tyre and explained why they couldn’t legally repair it. Unfortunately there was a mix up with the delivery of the tyres we had chosen, but they gave us tyres of the same quality / value at a discounted price checking first we were happy with that and honestly laying out the options. They kept us informed as we went along and overall were just really friendly, helpful and apologetic. We’re not local, but if we were I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again. Top notch customer service

   Booked a 3pm slot. Got there and they said it couldn’t be done until at least 4:30. This wasn’t ideal for me and I wasn’t very happy about it. Thankfully I had the time that day but had I not the best option was after the weekend. I had a slow puncture so this also wasn’t ideal. Poorly run online. Guy in the showroom was very professional and was clearly doing his best to handle a bad situation. Online 0/10 in person 10/10.

   0 stars if I could. I just yesterday had a service that took 6-7 hours to complete from drop off to pick up and I've just had to pull my car up on the side of the road due to white smoke coming from the engine, I opened the bonnet and found the engine oil cap OFF leading all of the engine oil to spill all over my engine. The cap which I can only assume but full heartedly know the service men left it like that as no one else touched my car from receiving my car yesterday to now (less than 24 hours later.) Now I'm having to waste more of my day waiting one hour for them to clean my engine as all of the oil was on it. The customer service that I received was degrading and very patronising and I didn't expect this service from anyone at Halfords auto centre let alone the whole team. I've made a full complaint to their live chat as the phone number doesn't work. Don't go here.
