   I want to start off my saying the guys there are nice people But that doesn’t excuse for having to return 4 times for multiple problems Bent steering wheel Rattling door, upon returning they tried to fix but said it’s ’your seats’. The sound was driving me crazy. Ended up inside door trim not installed correctly The roof liner wasn’t installed properly because someone thought it would be a good idea to get their hand and damage it whilst taking the door off Also left white marks all over the interior rear 18 plate car spotless when it left returned damaged and being told there’s no issue? They even dropped the car back to me and didn’t spot any issue which is just not right. I’m not a professional yet can spot all of this? Usually wouldn’t go to the extend to leave a bad review yet he put the phone down on me when I was just explaining to him that they should have put more effort in They did do a very quick diagnosis check for free for me for the trouble yet still had to go on google and didn’t know for sure what was actually wrong and said to me oh we did that for you so stop whining I’d rather have a non rattle car than a 2 mins diagnosis which wasn’t actually diagnosed. Like I said above they are nice guys but if you care about your car probably go elsewhere

   An extremely disappointing end with this company. I was in an accident and the insurance company provided me with these guys details to fix the vehicle. Initial communication was good and the guys were prompt. HOWEVER, upon receiving my vehicle, after being parked up for the night. I had noticed scratches in the morning and gouges that were not present prior to giving it to them. I called them up remaining polite and calm to which I was told it wasn’t them before they even really checked it out. We went back and forth and the tone changed rapidly to which this gentleman (Andrew Hopkins) refused any liability when it was clearly new damage (as corroborated by several people and another garage), refused to even look at it or be reasonable with me and kept talking over me. I am a customer, customers should be treated with respect and listened to. It ended up with him trying to use semantics to not accept liability. He didn’t even go and check with his staff if anything happened. Just flat refused immediately. I will be referring this back to the insurance company and taking it further. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, unless you want issues.

   Excellent service from Andrew and the team after an accident. My car was collected promptly, repaired promptly and returned looking like new. They answered my many questions politely and efficiently and recognised my need for a courtesy car and provided one as soon as they could. I would definitely recommend them and will certainly use them again. Thank you.

   A great big Thank You goes out to North Star garage, who, after being assessed as a write off, rescued my car from the scrap yard of eternity and restored her to full glory. They were absolutely wonderful, from first telephone contact to finished product: kind, friendly, reassuring, honest, and kept me posted throughout the whole experience. My car looks so beautiful now, that I keep looking out of the window at the miracle of her restoration. I had no idea how much I loved that vehicle until it was side-swiped by an articulated lorry whilst parked in a parking space and wrongly assessed as a write-off by my own insurance company!    Had my BMW 5 series fixed through insurance by these guys last year. Very professional and great communication, kept me up to date the entire time. Work carried out was to the highest standard, paint match impeccable. Highlight was the condition car was returned in, best clean ever!!!! Even the alloys looked throughly scrubbed, not a single speck anywhere. Will definitely return if any work needs doing in the future, cannot recommend them enough!

The repairs were carried out skillfully and also included some additional 'tweaks' that we had not officially requested, but which they had taken the initiative to sort for us (without additional charge).    I have been referred through my insurance for replacement of bumper, repaint and trims installation. Northstar garage has done a brilliant job with high quality finishing and the completion of the job was amazing. done the whole job within a day or so thats really unbelievable. Hats off to you guys keep up the good work. If I need any body work to be done for my car I will definitely go there again. Communication was excellent too thank you guys.
