   Took my car to G.P. Motors (Teddington) for a simple inspection and ended up being charged £288 even though no actual repair work was carried out. All they did was a basic investigation and then quoted me nearly £1,900 for further repairs, which felt extremely excessive compared to other garages I contacted. There was no clear upfront explanation that an inspection alone would cost almost £300. For what I received, the price was unreasonable and not good value at all. This experience felt like overcharging rather than honest service. I won’t be returning and I advise others to be very cautious.

   I recently used GP motors who come to my aid when my Peugeot Traveller went into limp mode while visiting family in Twickenham, the engine management light had come on during my visit saying the particulate filter was clogged and the car wouldn’t drive over 20 mph soon after and I was desperate to get it and myself back home to Newcastle and various mobile mechanics who said they could call out and flush the DPF or regenerate it had all let me down so I found these guys on Google and gave them a call and they asked if I could drive it the half a mile to their garage which I could so they could have a look at it. They dully did and told me it was a mixture of DPF and Ad Blue issues and it would need a sensor replacing and a regeneration. Unfortunately they couldn’t fix it in time to have it ready that evening which wasn’t surprising given I brought it to them in the afternoon of that day, but they knew I needed to get back home as quick as possible so they worked on my vehicle the following morning after the part had arrived and had me on the road by the late afternoon and told me not to worry my car would get me back home which was over 300 miles and it did. Their communication was fantastic from the start and they were extremely friendly and especially understanding of my situation and fitted in me at short notice despite being busy as the number of cars up on ramps and waiting to be seen to at their place proved. I couldn’t fault a thing with the level of their professionalism, standards and work. They did inform me that I should get it booked in with my own mechanic as soon as possible when back home, stating it also needed an Ad Blue injector replaced eventually which they were correct about and I’ve since got fixed so they didn’t just sort my car out to get me home, they gave me follow up advice and diagnosed a future issue on what would also need done going forwards which was really good of them I thought. The guy who I dealt with was called Gurpreet, a really honest and genuine person who was as good as his word in promising me my car wouldn’t go into limp mode on my long drive home. All in all I found the whole experience brilliant and would definitely recommend their expertise and services to anyone in the Twickenham and Teddington area and even further afar and while I hope to never have to use their services again, should I get into car troubles in the area in the future they will be my first port of call. I run my own business and know the importance of customer satisfaction and doing a great job and that’s what they did. Amazing people and first rate work, and if I could give more than five stars I would, so a big thank you to Gurpreet and his team, thank you from a very happy and satisfied customer, you saved me a great expense as I needed to be home and I didn’t fancy my car being flat bedded all the way home or having to wait a week or two to get it fixed as some garages quoted me. Top marks all round!

   We had just arrived in the UK from the Philippines via LHR and were on our way to the Isle of Man when I noticed that the car was misfiring and lacking power. I brought it to the nearest repair shop, GP Motors, and although they were fully booked, they understood my situation and kindly squeezed me into their tight schedule. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the car perfectly. I’m truly grateful for their professionalism and excellent service!

   This is a great garage in a great location with very helpful staff. They helped us with our air conditioning the same day and helped us survive an upcoming trip in the 30 degree heat this week. They carried out the work quickly and promptly and was very impressed by there quick turn around and glad for their help. The staff were friendly and would definitely recommend for any mechanical or automotive services in the Teddington area.
