Recomended to this company. My first impression is that this is an old school garage offering a personal knowledgeable service.
Beware - these are scammers, they overcharged me for the parts as confirmed by the parts supplier and for 2hrs of labour though the work was done in less than 30mins, when questioned for the original invoice the man says its his price and he doesn't care. When asked about the owner he says he is stuck in Iran..DO NOT APPROCACH THIS GARAGE!
I have been going to moss for some years now, for my MOT, and any car related issues and he always does a great job at a fantastic price, I trust him wholeheartedly and never go to anyone else! To see that people think he is scamming them in the other reviews is actually laughable and quite frankly sad, as it couldn’t be further from the truth! It seems like people can’t tolerate when they have to pay for their faulty cars. Mechanics many of them are known to take advantage, especially women as we tend to know nothing about cars, I have had my fair share of scams related to cars and when I found this small family owned business who finally does what they say I’ve never looked back! Thanks to moss and the team for always providing at 10/10 service
Done the mot, they said I have problems with the brakes, the issue has been registered in the system and after that they said let’s check again and the result: no worries about the brakes, works fine! but the defect is now registered in the system.

Was very disappointed with my last visit been using this place for a few years from turbo replacement to regulars services, Haven't used them in a small while since the cars I had were performance cars and Moss was not confident working on them, Recently I bought a normal car came in for an MOT Moss first comment was why I don't come anymore but anyways he went out his was to fail my MOT on as many things possible so I had doubts, The main issue was handbrake ok fair enough but then tells me £110 + VAT to tighten the handbrake screw, But after seeing the way he treated me I decided to go to another MOT place they fixed the handbrake within a few min charged me £30 for that job and was shocked with all the other failures Moss added to the MOT as he said it wasn't correct, Shame I was a long term customer but not anymore after my last visit always had trust in that garage not after seeing how they failed me on so many things that were perfect including saying my fog light not working yet only because he did not know how to turn it on, or seat belt missing only because he didn't bother looking properly and headlights not good the other MOT tester was in shock,Ive spent probably thousands by them over the years that's not how to deal with customers.
I been using this garage for a few years and family have been using them for much longer. Very friendly and professional from the mechanics to the owner, Mos. They do our MOT yearly and fixed my fly wheel which was a big job but they charge a fair price and completed promptly. Recommend to friends and so would definitely recommend.
