My pride and joy my beloved WR1 had decided to stop working on the car park called the M25, the engine just died, I’ve been taking my WR1 to JAMES at JEM for the past 4 years and so my default decision was to move with him to Herts Garage. The car was diagnosed, it was a big job a engine rebuild was needed it spent 3 months in their careful hands, most of that time was spent waiting for parts from Japan. I collected my precious low mileage WR1 today, it drove just a good as when I first had it all those 18 years ago, I know one thing my trust and expertise is safe with James at Herts Garage. I’m always very nervous when taking a vehicle for a service. I’m not knowledgeable about cars, so I never know if a business is ripping me off for repairs. I recently went to another local garage, and was quoted £270 for a new wing mirror plus labour. We took the car in to James for a service, and asked him to have a look at the wing mirror and quote for a replacement. He had a look and said it didn’t need to be replaced and was only a few loose screws from a knock, and he only charged us an extra 30min labour to fix it. This honesty is why I will only use them going forward. It’s nice to know there are still people out their that take pride in their work and are not just after a quick buck! Thanks James!
