Extremely reasonable prices, good quality food, great service. While there we could tell how good the place was as it had a lot of regular customers come in that the owner greeted personally.
Visited here twice and both times the experience was excellent. Its a real gem of a cafe tucked away behind Ashton Market. Much cheaper than places nearby and really friendly staff. I was served very quickly both times and food arrived within 10 minutes. Food and tea really hot. Only slight complaint would be that the slice of pie given was slightly small but the portions of everything else were generous. Will definitely be returning here in the future. Some minor points of note are that there is no toilet available, no high chairs or children's menu and slight step into cafe to bear in mind for wheelchair users. You can pay by cash or card. There are 4 tables inside which seem to fill up quite quickly but also outdoor seating is available. Cafe has some really nice decor and vibe to the place.
By far the best cafe in Ashton, I tried the rest before I tried the best! Wouldn’t eat anywhere else! Caroline and Brian are absolutely fantastic owners, always go the extra mile! Great atmosphere and music! Caroline also does great cakes too
I go in with my young boys quite regularly and the staff running the place are lovely and kind. Food is excellent and really well priced. A really lovely old fashioned caff, just how it should be!
