    The team at West 6 Auto handled a last-minute request to check the brakes on my VW Golf and got it straight over the inspection pit. They diagnosed everything quickly and were super friendly, knowledgeable, and honest about what the car did and didn’t need. Will be going back for any future needs. Highly recommend.

    Misogynistic, patronising, and unbelievably unhelpful, overcharged me OUT LOUD and without excuse because I tried to explain what the issue was in car terms, but was laughed at for being a woman trying to use 'car words' instead. DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE, ESPECIALLY if you are a woman. They will take advantage any way they can and assume you don't know about your own car. A VERY BAD PLACE

    I usually don't write reviews, but I couldn't share my last experience at West 6 Auto. It was the third time, good service from the mechanics, fast and decent cost of service. The issue is the Manager, Raj. He is a rude, as another review, abrupt and not professional. Raj rarely is at the garage and he micromanage his team. I went there yesterday twice with my car and he was not there to give a quote for the service. Basically, he was with his kid|(s) over the phone all the three times I spoke with him. At the garage, he was in between calls with me and his staff. who seems waiting for his approval or concert, as far as I saw. Raj asked me to txt him about what I want to fix... to txt him? I left my car at the garage at 12:15 to fix a problem showed from the panel and to quote other issues. I went to work and I had to call him after three hours as I havent heard from them about hte quote. Raj call (with a kid(s) at the background was rude and abupte on the phone, not clear quote, even telling me to GOOGLE the part to be replaced. Also, I was not not able to collect the car at the day, just next day, and Raj said there is not a parking car... and other things that I am not going to say. In conclusion, I had to reschedule meeting in the morning to collect the car next day, the mechanics solved the light on the dashboard issue, and they had to fix it again something that I asked previously but it was not done quite right. They sorted and they are good staff. I will never bring the car again. As I said, the manager is rude and not professional. There is no one there to give quote and support you to make a decision about the service with courtesy as any customer deserves. Other garages, they provide a printed quote, which is important for me as I have dyslexia (by the way, I disclosed this to Raj earlier, but it seems he doesn't understand...).

    I had a MOT and other work carried out here. No problem. Whilst I was there, my fob key was registering a need to change the battery. Having paid, I noticed it took a couple of presses to unlock the door . That I put down to chance so off I went. A couple of days later, during a rain storm, I spent 2 minutes trying into the car. Telephoned the garage and registered my ire. They told me to come down, and they would change the batteries. WHEN I WAS SEEN THEY SAID SORRY. HOWEVER, WHEN I WAS LEAVING THEY INFORMED ME THAT A CHARGE OF £5 WOULD BE CHARGED. THE MANAGER WAS FULLY AWARE OF THIS AND APPROVED IT. I PAID THE MONEY, AND THEY HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER.

    We required an urgent MOT inspection. The mechanic was polite and professional. Fitted us in that afternoon and completed a thorough inspection within the promised timeframe. We were charged a reasonable fee. There were some advisory points for the car service to be actioned later which were reasonable and well explained. Recommend.

    Highly recommend this place. Went to another garage first. Was told the repair cost would be over £1000 pounds. Then went here for a second opinion and turn out all I needed was a battery change! Honest team and fair price!

    DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE. Booked in via Fixter (for the last time), and the MOT was completed promptly. However, I was quoted over £550 to adjust a brake cable and replace a shock absorber. This work, when asked about at another garage, totalled £155. Knowing my MOT had failed and the car was undriveable, I was essentially at the mercy of their pricing. The final price I had to pay was £470 incl. MOT+Retest, which is daylight robbery. At Christmas time too!! The fact that they were willing to knock £100 off the cost of the shock replacement proves that their pricing model is a joke. Repeat: DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE.
