Was able to look at my car on - sane day I called very short notice (boot would not open). Fixed quickly and very fair price. Anthony was very pleasant to deal with. Will definitely go back!
The garage is now in new hands and we have had an awful experience! I took our car in to be fixed and received it back the same day with the same problem. I called up and flagged this issue and no accountability was taken then and later. The issue worsened to a point we had to take it back in. We take it in and get another big bill for more repairs to the opposite side of the car. Same story, we receive the car back with the same problem and no accountability! We take it in for a 3rd time expecting the car to be repaired properly as we have paid 2 times already. The garage then diagnose a new issue!! and take zero accountability for the costs and issues we have faced with the car. I highly recommend avoiding this garage, it may be close to you and convenient but from my experience do not give it the time of day.. We have since taken the car to a professional business to have the problem rectified and will never return to Barnes Car Garage again. We have also been informed of what the issue was in the first place and how it should have been fixed. In hindsight, we are time poor and put way too much trust in the garage to do the right thing and repair our vehicle!

My car broke down in Barnes. I live in Surrey and couldn't have driven it back. I found church road in Google and they had space so took it in. The team were very friendly and got the car fixed quicky. They were very very fair on pricing. Exactly what I wanted in an breakdown situation. Highly recommend
Took my car here for an MOT and it failed on warped brakes apparently which is unusual as the car is a fairly new. I was told it’s £200 for new front pads & brakes so I thought fine, I’ll just pay it. An hour later I have a phone call from the same guy, explaining the mechanics are half way through changing the brakes however it’s not £200 it’s £410. He was then quite rude on the phone and pressured me into making a decision as ‘the guys are working on it as we speak’. I told him I did not agree on the price so to put the car back to normal. When I picked up the car he tried to explain that my brakes are specialist and the pads alone are £80 each. I took my car to a different garage in Putney (5 stars). I explained how it has failed it’s MOT because of the brakes. They passed my MOT, looked at the brakes and said there’s no way do they need changing and if they did they are not specialist. Just to add to this garage, I found out later that my friend had a similar experience from a standard service and got charged £600 for new parts that she didn’t even agree on! I would go somewhere else.
Good, honest mechanics. Helpful and reasonably priced. Very responsive and reliable. And the main guy, Bob, is such a lovely person. Highly recommend.
