   Went to the drs had app 11:45 by 12:10 I went to reception to check I had booked myself in properly just incase I hadn’t ( dr was stood there) within mins I was called through OMG the dr was at me straight away about how they’ve had complex cases before me ect (totally understand) but then when I went through what I was there for she was snappy moaning and telling me to take myself to A&E they can’t deal with it there…. She took my BO but failed to tell me what the reading was lucky I know myself…. In all I must have really annoyed her that I had questioned why I was sat there for 25 mins just makes you think twice about calling them and yet they talk about us abusing and treating them bad pppfffttttt

   the doctor booked a blood test for my 15 year old daughter, on the day of the appointment they made her wait an hour after her original appointment time just for them to then tell her she cannot have a blood test under 16. Did you people not check her date of birth before telling her she needs a blood test. Wasted our morning. Receptionists are extremely unprofessional and cannot do their job without being rude. If you’re a POC, expect to be treated with disrespect.

   Please be careful with you loved ones. My elderly mother has been ringing the surgery for months for a face to face appointment as she couldn't keep her food down and was losing weight. The only appointment they gave her was over the phone. This was no help as they put her on the wrong medication. She ended up in hospital due to the lack of care from the surgery and has been diagnosed with cancer. There is no care for vulnerable people.

   I would like to share my positive experience of Grafton Road Surgery with you. I had a consultation with Dr Ali, she was extremely professional, caring and supportive. From that meeting her and the surgery team put together a package of appointments which concluded in me attending QE hospital. The people I met were very kind, caring, knowledgeable and helpful. These were, Dr Ali, Dr Banergee, Lisa on reception and Mich the practice nurse. All were incredibly helpful and I feel blessed that they helped me. Keep up the great work.

   Call to listen to a story about how to be nice to the receptionist & one of the doctors has left the practice. Absolutely ridiculous! Long queue to get through to the receptionist who isn't a doctor & decides the outcome of your appointment after demanding to know your symptoms. Not particularly friendly, more like police when the police were actually police. Surgery is no way near as good as it used to be.

   This surgery used to be great, until they changed their policies and you can’t book appointments really in advance nor get through. When you work full time and have a 30 minute lunch break, spend all of that said time waiting to get through and you can’t as phone lines are “busy” The receptionists are rude with no compassion I asked for some anti depressants, that I was previously on. You’ll need to book an appointment- ok can I book one, we only book two weeks in advance and those are all full, you’ll have to ring in the morning- never have I ever got an appointment from ringing at 8am or 1pm. There are no appointments with nurses for contraception that fit in with working hours, so I asked to get the depo injection prescribed, which they agreed to do. I went to collect the injection at the pharmacy to find out its prescription. Collection only. Which I couldn’t get to the doctor within working hours- nightmare!! I have moved surgeries this week, got through within two minutes and booked an appointment with the nurse two days later! I feel Grafton road has lots of patients on the books it gets paid for, but sees hardly any! Pitiful!

   Wouldnt even give 1 star, cant see any doctors and when you do the male doctor will google your symtoms and the female doctor will lecture you about lemons.!!! Dr google and dr lemon is our nickname for them, dont waste your time. Ive changed my doctors and am now being seen and treated for my health problem .

   I don't think this surgery even deserves 1 star given they are a small surgery and the no. of registered patients their appointments system is ridiculous - hard to obtain appts. Some of their reception staff are incredible patronising, they are quick to say no appointments without listening to what you have to say - My appt was cancelled twice by the surgery for short comings on their part but the reception staff failed to look at my record to see this was documented. Definitely lack communication skills and need further training.
