I had a wonderful experience at Eden! Diane was friendly, attentive, and really listened to what I wanted. My hair looks amazing — I couldn’t be happier with the result. Highly recommend!
Yes, she has done it again. Thanks to Diane, I feel like a new woman once again. Very pleased with my hair and her professional skills and opinion. I am glad I have found this hair salon!!! Ive been a customer with Eden for around 18 years. Diane always does a fantastic job, she's had some patience with me over the years from wanting different colours to cuts but she never fails to deliver. Always fast and efficient and always adds that extra touch so i can leave that salon feeling great about myself, worth every penny. The atmosphere is always fantastic, the team there as a whole always makes you feel welcome, asking how you are doing and offering hot drinks, with plenty of banter to cheer you up when needed. I always get lovely compliments about my hair. Fantastic hairdressers, never had any issues. Thank you guys. X
Been coming here for a number of years for highlights with Dianne and cut from mark - the service has always been fantastic, and my highlights superb. After an unfortunate time with cancer and chemotherapy the whole team ( including Emma) nursed my hair and soul back to full strength. I have never met such a professional and well informed hairdressers, especially Diane who inspired me full of trust and faith when I returned to having highlights when my chemotherapy finished. AVOID. First appointment at Eden in Holywell, my highlights were uneven, far away & left brassy. When i got home my head felt very itchy & i realised that the product hadn't been washed off properly & i had to wash my hair AGAIN. On my 2nd visit, i asked if she could place the highlights closer to my scalp & finer. Also, could she use a stronger bleach? She agreed & said "Ok, so as light as possible without all your hair falling on the floor?" How rude. I mentioned the bleach solution hadn't been washed off before. Obviously, constructive criticism, even in a friendly manner, isn't received well at this establishment. I received several dirty looks from the stylist, who clearly has a very worrying attitude problem. She highlighted my hair but as she was combing it, lots of my hair was falling out. I said "Oh no, is it falling out?" She said "No, much less than most people's" (lies) I suspected she'd used a bleach which was too strong. When i got home, my head was itching again & i noticed dry bleach solution under my fingernails, when scratching my head. I had to wash my hair again & boom, loads more hair fell out. I didn't cause an issue about it, several weeks later i popped into the salon & said that maybe it was their product (which i've never even heard of & it's not popular) wasn't agreeing with my hair. I asked her if she'd applied a stronger bleach & she lied & said "No" I asked if they'd mind ordering Fudge instead.The stylist again portrayed a really rude attitude & said she didn't want to risk doing my hair anymore. I said that if my hair fell out again then i wouldn't hold them accountable. I would like to add that my hair is really thick & in good condition (it was even thicker before i visited there!) The salon owner said it wouldn't be a problem & asked her if that was ok. Yet again, her attitude was rude & offish but she very ignorantly & reluctantly agreed. However, the next day i was bombarded with a tirade of phone calls from the salon owner, 5 continuous calls in less than 5 minutes, followed by a text message, voicemail then a call from a different mobile within seconds & again with a private witheld number as well. I found this behaviour to be abnormal, obsessive & creepy. I decided to visit the salon with a friend to find out what the huge urgency was. As soon as i arrived the male owner said "Yeah S.... (stylist) won't be doing your hair. She said she would quit her job if i make her" WHAT???? OMG... this was laughable. I've never known such childish behaviour & blackmailing your own boss is just madness. Basically, she said she was scared to do my hair. I would like to add, that my previous hairdresser had highlighted my hair for 10 years with Fudge, he'd often left the solution on for well over one hour, at times. During those 10 years i had never experienced any hair loss, breakage or problems. My hair was a beautiful, ash blonde, long & in great condition. My ex (now retired) hairdresser was just absolutely amazing. When i contacted him & showed him the picture of the excessive hair loss he said "Time to find a new hairdresser" & "I don't understand why it's so hard! (for them to do highlights) It's just patience and love" Clearly, attention to detail, time & patience is something this stylist is severely lacking. After so many years experience(?) it's apparent, she's still not capable of applying a set of highlights correctly & has no confidence in herself to be able to carry out a simple hairdressing procedure. Therefore, my personal experience at Eden Hair is negative. I believe that the staff there have no real talent for hairdressing either. Their procedures are outdated & their staff are rude & incompetant. I also do not appreciate being lied to either. Upon mentioning that i would be leaving an honest review, with regards to my experience, i was threatened by the salon owner, that if i mention his name then... well, you can imagine the rest. Personally, if you want to visit a nice friendly, talented & welcoming salon, then don't go here. Avoid this place at all costs. Never again.
