Solus is not a positive experience and I recommend staying away from them. I gave my car to Solus for paint damage to the back bumper through a claim with Aviva. They fixed the issue with the bumper, but made additional paint damages on the passenger side door and scratches on the glovebox. This garage does not treat your car with the same care as you do.
Since the delivery of my car a few days ago i noticed a burning smell while driving, only to pop the bonnet and noticing the oil cap has not been put back on and was placed on the side, oil has leaked all over the engine and components. barely any oil left in the tank as most of it has leaked. The car was taken and delivered on a truck but i have noticed my car has done nearly 200 miles in the time the car was left with them
Chosen via Aviva insurance claims team. The service throughout has been absolutely excellent and they did a great job. Badly damaged passenger door from a wall scrape, brand new door put on, car came back thoroughly cleaned, sparkling it was. Can't recommend them enough and polite and friendly pick up and delivery of of vehicle too. All done a day earlier than I expected. Thanks to the team for a great repair job. Would not hesitate to use again in the future.
