Used this garage twice before without issue but today was an horrific experience. My engine light came on a few weeks ago and I wanted to get it checked as well as get an interim service. I called Steve (the owner) and he quoted fair prices and asked me to bring the car down to do a diagnostic and an interim service. I arrived on Monday morning at 9 am, the diagnostic was performed and it apparently revealed that my oxygen sensor (lamda sensor) was faulty and required changing. I agreed to this, was quoted a price and told to return in 4 -5 hours. At 10:15 I received a text messgae from Steve asking me to collect the car as everything had been done. I was quite shocked as ordinarily a service takes at least a couple of hours and the sensor also needed to be changed - so 45 mins seemed very very fast! Notwithstanding, I returned immediately, paid and drove the car away. I didn't drive the car for a couple of days, and the next time I took it out, the engine light came back on. I drove back to the garage to advise them that the problem persisted. The young man who works for Steve - Alex - was very accomodating and took time to check the vehicle again. He did the diagnostic again and said that the problem was the catalyst. He did a couple of things, took the battery out etc and the light disappeared and I drove the car home with the advice that I need to change the catalyst. This is where the problem arose. I paid to fix the oxygen sensor and now I am being told that the problem was not the oxygen sensor (which I have paid for) but something else that would cost a lot more money. I decided to get a second opinion and got another diagnostic done with Kwik Fit who advised me that the oxygen sensor (which I paid a lot of money to change) was faulty! They told me that either the other garage did not change the sensor as told; they changed the wrong sensor; or the sensor purchased was faulty. I went back to Audi Volks and fed them this information. They told me that Kwik Fit was wrong and that the catalyst was the problem not the oxgen sensor. At this point I was totally confused. Alex, who had worked on my car, again was very accomodating and told me to bring the car back again so he could take another look. Today, for the fourth time, I took the car in. Steve came to me and told me, 'You keep coming here and wasting our time, you been here 4 times now'. I told him that I do not like having to come back and every time the engine light comes back on, my heart sinks! He told me, 'I already told you what the problem is but you don't listen and you don't want to fix it but you keep coming here to waste our time'. I advised him that I was confused as I had taken the car to Kwik Fit and they had provided a diagnostic saying the original problem was still the issue. At this point, Steve literally erupted stating: 'Oh you can take your car back to Kwik Fit then....' He shouted to Alex (who was in my car checking a few things) 'get out of the car give her the keys and let her go to Kwik Fit.' Steve then stormed into his office and closed the door. I sat in the chair watching him in absolute shock and disbelief! Then I became annoyed, stood up and went to his office. I told him that I did not appreciate the way that he spoke to me and that he was very very rude. I am entitled to get a second opinion and not have to be insulted and shouted at because of it. I then asked for refund since he refused to help resolve the problem. Steve got up, put his hand on me to move me away from the door and then tried to close the door whilst I was standing there! I told him straight away not to touch me and that he was being aggressive! At this point I took out my phone to film his behaviour so that it could be recorded and not my word against his. I told him 'I am filming you now so that you and others can see you how behave' He told me, 'unless you can prove that I done something wrong - no refund!' I have exceeded the character limit so I will stop and leave you to make your own judgement about how Audi Volks/Steve treat customers.

Not recommended if you require your suspension changed. Gave the car to the boss for a service, he decides that the front suspension required changing. After several attempts and visits to the garage due to changing 1 part at a time, driving away multiple times with clonking noises, loose fitting/ incorrect parts or poorly fitted Items i finally get the car back acting and sounding reasonable but like it had a complete front end renewal. Now driving it for a month or two the front suspension end feels loose, the damping feels in adequate and the spring rate is jumpy, it also makes a clonking noise again. As all of the parts are new, the problem is either poor workmanship or incorrectly fitted parts. After the previous several attempts and the attitude of the boss in resolving his work I will not be returning the car back to him to change his luck with my car again. Very disappointed as I've used his services annually for about 15 years.

The best place to go to if you have a German car and pay the costs from your own pocket (obviously, if someone else pays them for you by all means, go to main dealer). They have main dealers knowledge but charge sensible prices.

I highly recommend this garage. Very honest, professional and happy to help ALWAYS. Been there a few times and I will keep going there because I like to look after my car regularly and I am finally happy I found the right place for German cars. Thanks Steve and Georghe!

Took my golf in as the abs and traction control warning lights kept coming on. I had previously been to another local garage but they could not diagnose the problem and recommended I to go to a VW specialist. Took a chance and popped into Audi Volks, who were very friendly. Steve checked the car straight away and diagnosed a faulty rear abs sensor. Fixed it in about an hour. Very happy, think I will continue to use them.
