Laura and Siobhan really looked after my car so well. It had a failed MOT on quite a few things. They got it fixed and ready for the next MOT test super quickly. Service was amazing. I’ll be coming here all the time from now on!! Absolutely love them! Will also tell all my colleagues at work!
I regret to leave a negative review, but my recent experience with this business was extremely disappointing. I brought my car here with the intention of supporting a local company, and unfortunately the level of service I received fell far below expectations. I first visited on a Saturday morning in mid-July and was told to return the following Monday at lunchtime, as the person who could assist me was unavailable. When I returned on Monday, I was informed there had been a mistake and asked to come back again on Wednesday at lunchtime. I was understanding, as mistakes happen. On Wednesday, I left my car and was told I would receive a call within one hour. After three hours with no contact, I called before closing time and was informed my car was ready, that pictures had been taken, and all details needed for the quote were complete. When I arrived to collect my car, I was told the quote would be sent by email the next day. No email arrived. I sent three follow-up emails over the following days, none of which received a response. Two weeks later, I called and was finally given the quote verbally over the phone, but never in writing or by email as promised. This entire process was disorganised, lacked clear communication, and showed little regard for my time as a customer. I sincerely hope this feedback encourages the business to improve its customer service and communication processes.
I have been using this garage for the past 2 years, by chance I found them and although they are a 15 minute drive away i wouldn't ever go anywhere else again. Firstly to go in as a female and feel 100% comfortable and confident is massively important to me and so the fact that all staff are female is hugely appealing to me and even more so everyone is so lovely. I have in the past compared quotes given by this business against various others and I have found that they are the most valuable for money. After a failed mot at kwik fit 3 days ago I decided to go to spanners with manners once again just to see and of course the garage were able to save me literally hundreds of pounds. Thanks ladies for instilling my trust once again in mechanics.

They kindly fitted me in at short notice when I had been let down by another garage. Very happy with the service and price. They kept me informed of everything and I felt confident that they knew what they were doing.
So refreshing. I had a diagnostic and accelerator pedal repair done. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is as a woman to walk into a garage, not feel vulnerable, not be called 'darlin', and be spoke to like I have a brain in my head. They were really friendly. This place did a wonderful job, gave plenty of information, answered questions, and did things within the time they said they would do them. I would recommend them and use them again.
Car failed the MOT. However, Laura managed to fix it herself so it passed without needing an extra £200 in parts/labour. Absolutely fantastic service and will definitely return next year. Thank you so much for your professionalism, knowledge and transparency, extremely refreshing compared to previous experiences elsewhere.
