A lovely restaurant. French themed but don't expect the French way. Service was attentive but not over the top and the team there were very friendly. Drinks selection was good especially enjoyed the cocktails we tried and the food was lovely and a great choice for both myself and veggie partner. The building is amazing and works well with the restaurant. Reasonably priced and they do charge a 10% service fee but can be requested to remove. Toilets are downstairs. When back in preston we will return.

Just top class food served by amazing staff in an amazing venue which is worth a visit just to see the building. My wife had chorizo in honey, (to die for,) followed by a half chicken which was amazing. I had the mackeral to start and then pork medalions, which were stunning. She had a profiteroll with sour cherrys to finish and I had an amazing cheese board. Wonderfull. See the pics.

Let's start from the beginning, no welcoming at all, girl at the bar cold, put cutlery on the table and asked us to sit even if the table wasn't cleaned properly. The man who was our waiter was pleasant and nice, explained what was missing in the menu and took our drink order. Good selection of wine but would have expected more choices for carafes as a French place but it was only one choice. The chicken liver parfait was good, the calamari portion small and the hummus texture not good at all, needed more blending. The filet steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, I think its been cooked in bain marie so it's clever idea, my beef bourguignon needed a bit of salt and thyme. Was served in a extra hot plate, so had to wait ages for it to cool down to eat it by then the mash potato got cold and dry and to finish my pannacota was runny. No body came around to check if everything was OK with our food or if we wanted more drinks or any sauce for the steak served with chips. If this was on Monday evening I wonder how the weekend service would be. Not the worse experience but do I want to try again, not sure

This gorgeous building is just a couple of minutes walk from the railway station, so when my train was cancelled and I suddenly found myself with just over an hour to kill, I took the chance to get proper food rather than train rations! Firstly the two staff were absolutely lovely. The venue is stunning, loved the French theme. Food was right up my street - I love an Avo and Toast. Finally as the weather was so lovely I took advantage of the raised terrace to enjoy cake in the direct heat of the sun. Perfectly doable within the time I had before I went back for my train. Would recommend it.

Lovely food and the steak and frites my mum had was amazing!! The burger tasted lovely and had a hand cooked taste. Very nice treacle sponge and look forward to next meal. The main feedback I have is that the food took an hour to arrive and having to watch tables who arrived after us get their food before us all across the restaurant was frustrating. We asked for a 2nd drink that didn’t turn up. We then started running towards 2 hours when I asked about dessert and was happy to cancel but there are obviously staffing issues and no one comes back to say they are looking into it. I’m super patient but 2 hours for a meal. I felt sorry for the single waitress doing everything.

Very nice food and service from the staff. I would really recommend it. Heating wasn't working, but working for a church I could tell they where doing all they could to heat it up (it's not easy for big buildings). Highly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant. One of the places I recommend to my friends when they visit us in Preston. They have Camden Hells on tap and coming from North London that has a special place in my heart. Food is amazing. They do sometimes have a tendancy to over or under-cook the chicken. But, the staff are usually aware of the issue and are happy to get you something else. Overall - worth a try. One of our regulars.

We had a lovely lunch. We opted for the special 2 courses for under Β£15. We had booked a table and a lovely table had been reserved for us, very comfortable. We wasn't in a rush but the only negative was the service appeared slow.4

Amazing venue. Stunning decor & renovation of the original church. Beautiful interior. Foods great, service fantastic and so accommodating. We held a baby shower here for 25 people. The catering and assistant service (esp Caitlyn was exemplary, above & beyond. Fantastic calm and well prepared service from assistant manager Liz whose inter personal skills, as well as organisational delivery was personal and utterly perfect. Fab for a party /baby shower/event. Discreet and private upper floor for functions although there are stairs to climb. Food was yummy too. Attentive for drinks and service. Will definitely visit Bistrot PiΓ©rre again for Food and drinks I highly recommend this gorgeous venue for parties/events etc....

Lovely experience, the conversion from church to restaurant is a lovely sight, you can enjoy the church windows as you dine. Food was out in good time, very tidy and fresh feeling. The food tasted clean and full of flavour with nice portions. Honestly I'd recommend this place for a lovely brunch date on a sunny day.
