“We visited for the first time on Saturday 8th November 2025 and we were served by Simona. She couldn’t have been more attentive. The service provided was excellent and right up there with the food. I had the arancini and the carbonara with sides of tenderstem broccoli and rocket. My partner had the scarpetta and lasagne. We both really enjoyed the food, particularly the dishes I picked. Simona kindly made me aware that the carbonara was traditional and not cooked with cream, which is what I expected but I do know people who have eaten a version of “carbonara” with cream who would definitely appreciate this information for their knowledge and to be aware of what they were ordering. Despite our table being booked for 7pm on a Saturday and the restaurant being very busy, we did not wait long to be served or for our food to come out. It was all well presented and perfectly cooked. I’ve already recommended a number of people to visit since our meal and we will definitely return next time we’re in Manchester.”

“Had a wonderful experience this morning. Ruby welcomed me with a smile and suggested an addition to my order which was phenomenal. Carlos brought my full order to my table and made sure I had everything I needed. Catherine bused the dishes from my table when I was finished and ensured I was satisfied with everything. I had a lovely conversation with all three of them after I was finished and left feeling very thankful this was the coffee shop I chose while I was in town for a day. “A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time. Very reasonable prices too which is a bonus! will definitely be visiting there again soon.”

“Watched The Lion King at the Palace Theatre and it was absolutely breathtaking. The atmosphere in the theatre itself is grand and historic, with great acoustics and comfortable seating. The performance was world-class, from the costumes and stage design to the music, everything was magical and immersive. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience felt smooth and well-organised. Truly one of those shows that stays with you long after the curtain falls. Highly recommend both the venue and the production!”

“Very nice atmosphere and large screen with plenty of comfortable sitting, the one was choose it was 4K HD screen with leather sofas, perfect place to spend some quality time. It’s inside the print works so you can either drive or walk in.”

“Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”

“I popped over to Halfords after I discovered a fault with some work that I recently had done at a different garage, my car was not working well. A very kind and friendly staff member sort to resolve my issue immediately, he kindly introduced me to Scott. Scott didn't hesitate to find the problem and resolve the issue and talked me through what was wrong and what he did !! All I can say is that he is a credit to Halfords I've only ever had service like this in one other car garage and I've been to many in my lifetime. He was perfect”

Bar games are encouraged and there is a vigorous card school with local rascally characters engaging in fierce banter which is a joy to watch. All in all the Comfy experience is a sight to behold and a life experience that must not be missed.”

Professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive, Wade mixed fantastic drinks and offered great recommendations based on what I liked. What stood out most was his service—fast, thoughtful, and consistently upbeat, even when the bar got busy. You can tell he really enjoys what he does, and it shows in the atmosphere he creates. “Son lost his wallet here with all his Christmas money in. We didn’t have much hope it would be found but I reported it lost to the lovely Shanese. I left my details and within minutes she called to say she found it! She even ran outside to pass it on to my son. Shanese went above and beyond. We are so grateful for her. Happy new year!!!”
