   How this place doesn’t have more 5* reviews is beyond me. It’s an absolute gem of a place with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. They have great calendar of activities for kids of all ages all of which are very affordable and there is enough play equipment to keep everyone busy. If only there were more places like this.

   We had such a fantastic experience at The Hideaway! My little boy and his best buddy absolutely loved the safe and chilled atmosphere where they could play independently and confidently. It’s a perfect spot for after-school playdates — whether with friends or just to meet new local little ones. The boys enjoyed delicious homemade pizza with chips and beans, followed by squash and ice cream. The food is very reasonably priced, which makes it even better value for families. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. They went out of their way to explain where everything was, the different play areas (with age guidance), and even how to order food and drinks. Their attentiveness really stood out, as they showed genuine interest in their customers and created such a lovely, community feel. I was also impressed to learn about their brilliant after-school sessions — including Lego club, baking, and arts & crafts — all offered at a small additional cost and including meals and drinks. With the colder, wetter weather setting in, it’s the perfect place to let off some energy or simply unwind in a safe, well-managed environment. What I thought might be chaotic and noisy with lots of children was actually relaxed, organised, and really well run. We’re already looking forward to booking our next session!    A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time. Very reasonable prices too which is a bonus! will definitely be visiting there again soon.

   Amazing place for children of all ages! We had the best birthday party there for our little girl. The staff were incredibly accommodating. Good food and drinks all very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

   We had our daughters second birthday party in December here and she absolutely loved it! The staff went the extra mile, especially with the nursery rhymes/singing and dancing and bubbles they put on for the kids. Thank you to Rose who was especially great with Poppy. We go here regularly anyway as it’s so varied and a lot to do but we would definitely have her birthday party here again.

   Absolutely love this place. So much more educational and pro development than an average soft play centre. Cafe is also fab and I love how you can request specific time for food to arrive-Makes being parent on your own so much more relaxing than any queuing for essential coffee whilst trying to supervise a small child! Been several times and it gets better every visit, and drive a good 25 minutes for it just because it’s best play centre in GM in my opinion!
