“Wayne is friendly and very professional. My newly revamped pond is lovely with very happy fish and frogs. I'm so thankful as he wouldn't normally have come this far north to Morecambe from Manchester. If you want him and you do want him, bribe him with a comfy bed and homemade dinners. You will have to drag him in though as he's a perfectionist and workaholic. Excuse the net, it's an unfortunate necessity for the heron and the fox.”

“A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time. Very reasonable prices too which is a bonus! will definitely be visiting there again soon.”

“We booked The Mews and The South Cottage for 5 nights for our wedding. The cottages were spotless, the interiors were beautiful and the views and ground of the cottages were stunning. It felt like homely luxury! The layout worked really well in terms of the number of bathrooms etc. It was the perfect place to get family and bridesmaids together before the wedding and such a beautiful place to get ready on the wedding morning itself. The owner was very quick to respond to my social media messages and happily made adjustments to my order. Food was delicious and service was very quick. Condiments were offered and a toilet is available inside. Seating available outside during good weather. Takeaway orders are taken. The boat was warm, cosy and full of character. The owner was really friendly and asked us questions about ourselves and built up a good rapport. Will definitely return”

“Such a lovely experience. Had the Mix and Match Spa treatments here today - salt scrub, massage and facial, and can't recommend the spa and the staff highly enough. I'm pregnant and was a little nervous before I went, but my therapist, Aimee, was brilliant. She made sure I was comfy and that my bump was supported throughout. The treatments were excellent and felt like real luxury. Aimee worked specifically on my extra tight muscles - not something you usually get at a cosmetic spa, so that was a huge unexpected bonus. The spa atmosphere itself is lovely, great products and lovely staff throughout my visit. Would definitely recommend!”

“I booked a meerkat and birds of pray experience for my partners 40th birthday and I must say Nanette and her husband went above and beyond and made the day so special I honestly cannot thank them both enough! Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a personalised happy birthday message on the black board, this little touch really made the day feel special and was a great start to a fantastic day. Nanette is very knowledge, so learning about these magnificent animals was excellent. We felt very safe and relaxed and had a wonderful hands on time with both the meerkats and the birds of pray. I highly recommend Vale Royal Falconry Centre to everyone, whether it is for a lesson or just a nice day out, you will not be disappointed!!
