“Wayne is friendly and very professional. My newly revamped pond is lovely with very happy fish and frogs. I'm so thankful as he wouldn't normally have come this far north to Morecambe from Manchester. If you want him and you do want him, bribe him with a comfy bed and homemade dinners. You will have to drag him in though as he's a perfectionist and workaholic. Excuse the net, it's an unfortunate necessity for the heron and the fox.”
“An absolute godsend! We spent six weeks with Ronald McDonald after our son was born three months early. Rather than battle an hour of traffic every day, we got the opportunity to stay on site near him. My only complaints are about the other guests not cleaning up after themselves or spilling their food across the shared fridge. But I cannot fault the charity for the behaviour of its guests. I'll always be thankful to the team for making us feel welcome!”
“A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time. Very reasonable prices too which is a bonus! will definitely be visiting there again soon.”
“David made the process of renting and moving in unbelievably easy and stress-free. Communication is fantastic, with any issues getting resolved quickly and with no fuss. I would highly recommend renting with McGowan if you can - other estate agencies could learn a thing or two!”

“My child loved Ferry Link from the first day! Children have great fun every day and don't want to come home! Staff are really nice and take good care of children. It has a lovely familiar atmosphere!”
“Amazing studio full of a range of classes, welcoming and fun atmosphere, always recommend to my friends!”
“I have attended the Zumba classes here. The instructor was a breath of fresh air, great vibes and amazing workout.”
“What a find. I was out for an appointment, and was early. We spotted this place, unassuming. We were greeted and seated. The breakfast was cooked from scratch fresh. No preparation, out of fridge to be cooked The value was excellent. Also I could help that community in a small way. If was in my home town would be a regular.”
“Wonderful place, Aaron is such a great host and puts so much care from everything he bakes to the selection of coffee which is fabulous. There is a real sense of community when you go in. I have been a regular there for the last 5y and it never disappointed. Take the trip, enjoy a superb cup of coffee and a lush cake!”
“Started going here once a week for breakfast. Had a tasty English breakfast with 2 pieces of toast. All beautifully cooked. Also had a cappuccino. Lovely service. Keep promising to have something else because everything sounds lovely but just love the cooked breakfast.”
“Fantastic little tea room. I'm not one for writing reviews, but felt this place really deserved one. Very busy when we arrived, we were lucky to get some comfy chairs in the window. Amazing bacon bap with lovely thick tasty bacon from the local butcher, huge mug of delicious black coffee, very happy to pay £6.95. Charming staff, will definitely be back.”
“The best shisha ❤️ Very good service ❤️ I really recommend it ❤️”
“Mayfield Park is a unique little gem in Manchester!! It’s not very big, but it offers lovely seating areas and is great for a relaxing walk. Especially beautiful around sunset when the lighting in the park comes on and adds a cozy vibe. There are quite a lot of security cameras around, which might bother some. Other than that it’s Manchester’s most beautiful park!!!”
“We have had a couple of bad experiences recently welding around the country , butter fingers has now set the bar high , look at pics , fantastic prices , fresh salad & hot food , lovely lady on front of house xx burger & chips takeaway £5.50”
“What a gem to drop onto whilst driving through Buxton. Definitely worth a stop if you want a bite to eat. Excellent spot A clean plate because the food was that good”
“Childhood walking area, nice field at the start where dogs can run around. Small stream that dogs can get a drink or play in. You can walk further into the wooded area and up to a disused rail line and reservoir, leading further onto the moors. Dogs and people are able to get down to the water.”
“This is my favourite Café. I always pop in for a breakfast/brunch when I'm in this area. I also love the Armenian dessert. Place is run by super kind and polite, and very professional people. Always smiled and happy to help. You can see how your food is made, as kitchen door are always open. It's always busy here but I've never waited for the food too long. Very tasty coffee. They also provide few toys for small children, so families are nicely welcome here. Prices are fair. I highly recommend that place for everyone, who values a good quality of food and expect a positive attitude from the staff. I've been here many times and for sure, I'll be coming back here soon.”
“The dude is playing techno music and the woman next to him seems to try hard to focus on her task. We are just chilling here and watching swans play with each other. What a good day ☺️”
“I've not tried next door cafe but I will soon. Meeting spot for friends to get breakfast food always just what you ask for nicely presented too”
“Best place in the village hands down. Nice folk and no loons”
“Best fish and chips, friendly staff. Recommend.”
“My friends and I had a coffee and pastry there and their drinks and pastries were super delicious esp the pistachio croissant was so rich and yummy”
“Not able to judge the food (they dont sell any) or the atmosphere (as no one else was in) but the bar itself is wonderful. Only small, with an indoor upstairs seating area & a small section out front with tables & chairs (only good for dry days) Theres also a beer garden to the rear apparently (never tried it)? Although limited for bar space the beer selection is good. More often than not there are 3 locally brewed ales on cask & 8 beers on keg, which usually includes a dark one. Altrincham born & bred Iv'e been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s and despite both it sister bars closing (Chorlton & Liverpool) luckily this bar continues to trade. I wish there was a greater choice, but should you be unable to find something unsuitable on cask/keg, they also have a well stocked fridge with numerous craft ales so im confident you'll find something suitable. Not the cheapest of bars, but far from the most expensive. OK, its getting a little tired around the edges now & the downstairs disabled toilets could do with a bit of a face lift, but all that said I still highly recommend this place.”
“The waiter was lovely treated us very nicely. The atmosphere was perfect low level chatter no one being to loud and this meant we could have our own conversation with no one listening. The food was so warming and really filled me up for the price.”
“Quiet and aesthetic study spot, perfect for focusing on uni work”
“A wonderful place for anyone who appreciates great drinks and a cozy atmosphere! Black Sheep Coffee always feels warm and inviting — the aroma of freshly brewed coffee instantly lifts your mood, and the stylish interior creates a perfect little escape in the middle of the city. The service here truly stands out — the staff treats every guest with genuine care and attention. A special thank you to Rishi. He’s incredibly friendly, polite, and a true professional! He helped me choose the right drink and explained all the options — thanks to him, I’m now enjoying a delicious hot chocolate. And with the Christmas atmosphere outside the window, it feels absolutely magical. Thank you, Rishi, for the amazing service and wonderful experience!”
“Great medditeran influenced cafe, good for breakfast or scones.”
“Really nice sensory room which my little boy loved and nice cafe. Friendly staff there. Will vist again.”
