Just a short 10-15 minutes walk from Northern Quarter. This idyllic space was beautiful on the sunny day that we visited. Perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre and feel at one with nature. There was an abundance of swans, Canada geese and other wildlife. It was a little busy but that's to be expected on a sunny day. If you live in the city centre, it's well worth a visit.

Picturesque canal area perfect for strolling, contemplation, photography and socialising. This park has several bars to your convenience. The park is also easy to reach in the city centre by walking or metrolink. This area can be enjoyed all year round, whether you’re sipping a Starbucks in winter or basking in the heatwave at summer.

The dude is playing techno music and the woman next to him seems to try hard to focus on her task. We are just chilling here and watching swans play with each other. What a good day ☺️

Lovely park, we take our puppy Max there every day. There’s a little area for the dogs to play off lead and all the other pet parents are lovely. Really nice park :)

Best location in Manchester, nice to walk around the canal. Some grass for picnics, or just chill on a bench with a nice view. Coffee, pastries and wine available in the area.

This park has a great bakery called pollen, worth a visit for fresh pastries, bread and good coffee. There's also a brewery next door called cask now the weather's better, for a drink in the sun. Great spot for a run or just sitting outside and watching the world go by.
