An adorable little cafe if you’re passing through or waiting for a train. I cannot fault the staff - they were so kind and polite (and apologetic as things got unexpectedly busy and drinks were delayed). I would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

Fantastic little tea room. I'm not one for writing reviews, but felt this place really deserved one. Very busy when we arrived, we were lucky to get some comfy chairs in the window. Amazing bacon bap with lovely thick tasty bacon from the local butcher, huge mug of delicious black coffee, very happy to pay £6.95. Charming staff, will definitely be back.

Called into this cafe follow a hike today. What a lovely little cafe. Such a friendly welcome and great menu. The staff were lovely and didn't mind answering questions about the village. They also sell some lovely local crafts. Really enjoyed my iced coffe and warm fruit scone. Think we will be back soon

We dropped in for lunch today and were not disappointed. The decor is welcoming and tasteful, the service friendly and cheerful and the food delicious! The menu was great and the drinks choice was plentiful. I loved the fact that you could have a half sandwich along with a bowl of delicious homemade soup, and my husband totally enjoyed his homemade cheese and onion pie. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Great non-greasy breakfast and great prices! £4.50 for a small breakfast and £2.50 for a latte for a bit of insight. Yummy sausages and bread! Would recommend!

Amazing selection of food (good breakfast, lovely selection of salads as many more in big portion) and desserts at very good price! I love the vintage decoration inside and my favourite is cream tea which they always serve in nice crockery. And always superb service here. Family friendly as well and at one side, they have display of local crafts.
