We were on a mission and a litte over half way, ready for a coffee n a cake. Found somewhere to park, sat outside pleasant enough. Just down the way is the canal basin. Over the past few years, someone (well, several actually) has developed the area. Quite a pleasant area to visit and picnic. We had coffee and toasted tea cake, quintessential English and back on our way.

This is a nice little cafe but so disappointed today. Cappuccino was barely warm and pastry, although asked if it was fresh, was not! I took home to warm up. I know there are limits to the temperature of cappuccino but other places in whaley make it much hotter. Room for improvement.

First time vist my little boy whonis 2 years old! Really lovely food and great guy serving us. As it was busy we sat in the back and the man offered to let me know when a table near the toys was available! Cant fault the place

Love this place, really chilled atmosphere, lovely food and toys for little ones to play with. I particularly love their toddlers menu which is basically a little mezze platter where the children can choose 5 things to have on their plate. The best kind of food to keep toddlers occupied whilst you have a HOT cup of tea!

Food was tasty but expensive. My coffee was warm instead of hot. When I asked for it to be heated up the waitress pulled a face as if I'd asked for the moon. In fairness she said the machine sets the temperature but if that's the case they need a better machine. When I'm paying £3.05 for a regular latte I expect it to be hot. She did eventually bring me some more hot milk which helped. I don't know if they warm the beakers before putting the coffee in but that may help?

Awesome independent cafe with the most wonderful locally sourced handmade food & drinks. Lovely staff & a great cozy atmosphere. Very welcoming to dogs and walkers.

Excellent coffee and great orange cake. The owners are super friendly and the atmosphere is unbeatable! My son loved the little corner full of toys. That is definitely quite smart.

Best coffee in town, wonderful staff and especially great venue; now that they've moved into the old post office it's both dog friendly and easily accessible for those with mobility issues. Also had the most delicious Guinness cake this afternoon, fresh out of the oven.
