“Brilliant food concept, a mix of English and Chinese food which never goes wrong. I've been there twice and never been disappointed in anything. High quality food, very good service, restaurant clean and quirky, and also very important, prices are very reasonable. The menu offers a wide range of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and include good deals, brunch and bottomless service! They also offer delivery service if you leave in the area. 100% raccomended.”

“I had a couple of guinness. No food. Didnt see they had Murphys until late so i will be back for a pint of that They have tayto Great atmosphere here, people enjoying the craic or watching the GAA. I visited this pub when it was the Tavern. I wrote a bad review amd critised whoever was running it, as it seems like a nice wee spot. The new people who have taken it over have put some love into this. Well done. I went in with low expectations and was proved utterly wrong. I cant understand how they can offer a free buffett. I would urge you to give this place a go.”

“The cafe is brilliantly located right in the toddler play area at Stamford park. Having a cafe with a toilet is very convenient when I'm out and about with the kids. They have friendly staff, great coffee, lovely atmosphere & fabulous value.”

“I had my hair colored and cut in October, and Jodie was my stylist. I had an old balayage and wanted to go back to basics. She was so helpful and friendly! I told her what I wanted (or just a rough idea of what I wanted), and she gave me some great suggestions. “Katie did a fantastic job with our end-of-tenancy clean. The tenant had left the property in an absolutely horrendous state, but Katie quickly took care of everything. Her communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was incredibly friendly and professional. She arranged for rubbish and furniture to be removed and disposed of, followed by a deep clean—all at short notice. The transformation was incredible—the place was a million times better afterwards! I will be recommending Katie and Maids of Cheshire to all my friends and family.”

We love their food so much that we opted for their catering service for our daughter’s baptism event. Everyone loved the food and it was a pure delight. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good Indian tea specially their chicken Hyderabadi and Samosa which are almost like Delhi style.”

“Robina and John are the most wonderful neighbours to have over the road from Hive Stores. They both work very hard to bring a lot more joy and creativity to the neighbourhood and are always willing to help where they can. The waiting room cafe has the best value full English around and the engine room is set to become a great creative hub. Whilst enjoying breakfast on our day off we conversed with familiar faces from the local neighbourhood who were enjoying crafts and socialising in a relaxed atmosphere. “Dining at Brasserie Blanc was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay at the Delta Hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, the beautifully designed interior transported us to a different world. The space is bathed in natural light, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and uplifting. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. Paired with a bottle of their delicious white wine, it was a meal to remember. So memorable, in fact, that we ended up enjoying a second bottle as we lingered over dessert. Speaking of dessert—what a treat! The Wye Valley Rhubarb Crumble was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, while the Pistachio Soufflé was light, airy, and full of flavor. “I am from Arizona, but I served a Mormon mission here back in 1980 and this was the one place that had the best burgers in the world better than any that I have in America. And so literally I’ve been coming back for 43 years to this same place and same location. Their hamburgers and onion rings are second to none. And the lady that’s been serving us has been there 27 years, that’s crazy. When we bring my kids over and grandkids this is their favorite stop, we purchase takeout and then we walk across the street to the picnic tables and enjoy the best burgers around.”
