Usually have no issues going to my go, been today and the receptionist Jade was absolutely horrible. JADE was nasty in every way and did not care. However my GP was amazing and so was the receptionist I saw after, she was so helpful. And patient. JADE is making the practice look so bad.

I had a car accident on 22/09/2025 and was advised to contact my GP. When I called, I was told the practice could offer nothing and to contact NHS 111. NHS 111 promised a call back, call back at 3am told me to contact my GP as a matter of urgency. When I called the practice the next morning, my call was cut twice. When I finally got through, the receptionist said there was nothing they could do - even after I explained my urgent symptoms. There was no empathy, no attempt to offer a solution, and no record was made of my attempts, despite my request. As a healthcare professional, I find this level of service unacceptable. Patients in urgent situations deserve support, guidance, and at minimum empathy - none of which I received.

Just wanted to make a "good" point about my recent 2-3 visits to the surgery and praise how awesome and supportive the GP"s have been. It's not that they were not before it was that I never knew any different and thought because of the time restrictions and the workload they needdd to be focused and regimented with appointments however Dr Gregory, Dr Matharu and Dr Khan were exceptional took time to listen to ALl my concerns answered ALl questions knowledgeably and with attention ti my understanding and satisfaction made ALL the referrals that we established I needed and just overall were COOL! Please pass on my gratitude directly to them. I have visited the surgery a couple of times to try to thank them but have been told understandably that I would need to make an appointment to see them and although I still have and establish further complications I don't want to take an appointment that someone who is worse off could use also the fact that you gotta get up so early and be on hold file so long is a small factor and I don't want to suffer that if I can solder on for now.

Credit where it’s due. In an age of hopeless GP surgeries and receptionists guarding the appointments like their own first born this one is pretty decent. Having not long moved from another surgery and having to wait 6 weeks to get a telephone consultation I’m able to get a telephone appointment here with relative ease. On a couple of occasions I’ve had a telephone consultation and they’ve wanted to examine me I’ve been invited in the same day which was reassuring. At my previous doctors they couldn’t get me out of their office quick enough(that’s if I could even get there in the first place), these guys are miles better. I don’t feel rushed when I’m explaining my concerns and they order tests promptly and they’ve always called me with any results of said tests with a treatment plan. The only issue I’ve found is lack of consistency with seeing the same Dr. Although they all have access to the same system I’ve found it difficult to get a follow up with the same GP I originally might have seen. Everytime I’ve wanted a certain GP when booking I always end up with someone else but I can’t complain when some people can’t get to see a GP in their surgeries. All things considered this surgery is a million times better than the shambles I came from. No issues with the nurses either when seen for dressing check ups. Thank you!!

The staff at warley are always polite and very informative. We are all aware that doctors surgery’s are in high demand from patients but as always the receptionists are very helpful. Each doctor I have spoken to personally has been equally as good. I didn’t feel rushed and really felt as though they listened and took their time to understand my issue. Overall, every single staff member gets 5 stars from me.

Posting on behalf of my friend. After nearly 30 years (from birth) being with Warley medical I am appalled at how down hill they have gone. Receptionists with no people skills what so ever. It’s impossible to get an appointment… so you get told you will get a call back from a doctor. Waited over 6 hours no call, rang them to query to be told the doctor had documented they had called twice. Before you can even respond she’s jumping down your neck stating THATS WHAT THE DOCTORS PUT NOTHING I CAN DO! and this was the same receptionist who was having ago with a patient and put the phone down on them when they were unhappy they never got a call but again THAT DOCTORS DOCUMENTED THEY HAVE CALLED.. when I was last in the surgery!! So definitely appears to be a REGULAR OCCURRENCE!! Doctors are still not seeing patients yet are being paid to call patients but aren’t even doing that. The receptionists are appalling just lately and are quick enough to tell you to find another surgery which isn’t good for the practice. I will taking this further with CQC as the quality of care here is appalling. And I will be sourcing another GP Practice which is a shame, but credit to DR DESEI & DR JUKES! there the best doctors in the practice. But sadly will be the end of an era for myself and warley medical centre!

I hate writing reviews but I was compelled to do so due to the service recieved. I cannot really falter the receptionists as they have been helpful each time I have called. 1. Surgary is really really busy and to get an appointment is difficult however I have managed to get appointments albeit face to face but most over the phone which is usually not helpful. 2. On a random visit I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, I was pressured to go to A&E when I didn't need to, granted I had high blood pressure but to scare you like this? 3. Rather than listen to the patient, I found that the doctors here think they know better, they put me on multiple medications and made me extremely unwell with side affects. I pleaded for a private referral to a cardiologist 6 times and despite the reluctance from the last doctor he finally agreed. 4. I went on an appointment and the doctor I saw decided to call his family/friend during consultation. If I could. I would avoid this place like the plague but due to reasons outside of my control I have to suffer till their services improve and doctors are trained to provide a professional service.

The receptionists are very unhelpful and very rude. Went to the chemist to pick up my medication to be told it wasn't there because the doctors hadn't sent the prescription to them. So queried it at the doctors and they blamed the chemist. After going back and forward from chemist to doctors I asked the receptionist if she could print my prescription and get it signed for me as I had no medication left which she told me it couldn't be done. I asked to speak to the practise manager who accused me of being rude and told me it takes 72 hrs to arrange but then she agreed she would get it sorted for me to collect the following day ! So does that mean it doesn't take 72 hrs ? How can they accuse people of being rude when she was far more rude to me by shrugging her shoulders at me when I asked when it would be available to collect the following day. I also work so just wanted a rough idea of when was best to go and collect my medication. How can it be ok to leave people without their regular medication and not be willing to help. It's supposed to be a caring profession. I can't speak for every receptionist's but the ones I dealt with were diabolical and shouldn't be in the job.
