The mechanic I have been using since I was 18 retired so had to find someone new, tried a few in the area but not impressed until Kevin was recommended by a friend. Honest, reliable and drama free, that’s good enough for me. Will definitely be using again
Dishonest Practices - Fails Cars to Sell His Own Parts I am writing this review in the hope that it prevents other motorists from being exploited by this establishment. My experience with the MOT tester here was, without exaggeration, one of the most dishonest and frustrating I have ever encountered. I brought my car in for its MOT, a vehicle that has been meticulously maintained and was running perfectly. The tester failed it on several items, all based on what he called "visual observations." When I pressed for specifics and evidence—such as measurements for brake wear or a clear demonstration of the "excessive play" in a suspension joint—he was incredibly vague. There were no facts, no figures, just subjective opinions like "that looks a bit worn" or "I'd say that's on its way out." The most telling part came next. He immediately followed the failure by offering to "sort it all out for me," stating he had the exact spare parts in his own workshop and could do the repairs at a "competitive rate." The convenience was staggering. It is my firm belief that this was not a genuine MOT test, but a calculated strategy to create business for his repair service. He manufactured reasons to fail a perfectly roadworthy car to line his own pockets. I took my car to a different, highly reputable garage for a second opinion, and they passed it with no advisories, confirming my suspicions. Avoid this tester at all costs unless you want to pay for repairs you do not need. He uses the MOT certificate as a weapon, not a tool for road safety. A complete disgrace to the trade.

Best place in London as far as I’m concerned. Both chaps were friendly, knowledgeable, respectful. They did my MOT & then put air in my tyre and topped up my windscreen free of charge ‘because they noticed it was running out’. So thoughtful. I feel very safe when I go there. Top banana.

Best garage experience I've ever had! Usually people take advantage of my lack of car knowledge or are just rude, but these guys were so friendly, helpful, efficient and cheap! Wanted a bulb change in my headlight, 3 garaged said no, this guy slotted me in immediately, only charged for the parts not the labour, checked my oil and water for free then turned my car around, all down with a smile. Amazing service, couldn't ask for anymore!!
