Used for my annual car service. Was able to book a service for the following day. Driver collected and dropped off my car. Service completed within a few hours. Had to pay for a new pollen filter and brake fluid so nothing unexpected (about £220 for those additions - mine is an electric car). About £400 in total for everything. Had call in the morning explaining what would happen and again after the service and before the additions were carried out. Would recommend and use again.

It was all made extremely easy to book online and you get a call within minutes to confirm the booking. They then arrange a garage local to me to collect the car for its service and MOT. Emails were plentiful however no garage details were given. On Monday my car was collected 2 hours later than the 8-10am slot. The car failed it's MOT and I received a call about 4.30 on Monday afternoon from Kevin from Servicing Stop who spoke very quickly, almost impatient and rattled off the fail reasons. Once he said them he added he had three other customers to call so was clearly pressuring me to hurry up and make a decision on the repairs. The quote as it now turns out is hugely inflated after speaking to other mechanics. I am not mechanic and as the car was undrivable I panicked and stupidly agreed this quote for the work. The payment plan was emailed as we were on the phone and I didn't hear from Kevin again. Day 2 - I didn't hear from servicing stop once, despite calling them 12 times and staying on hold for over 5 minutes per call. They didn't supply any garage details so I was unable to contact them either. In the end I rang the original number as a potential new client which was answered and the lady was actually helpful and gave me the garage details. Unfortunately the garage were not able to answer calls on the number they provided. Day 3 and still nothing from servicing stop. I managed to find the garage on Facebook and sent a messenger which they responded to apologising and explained that communication is done through Servicing stop. They confirmed the car was going for it's MOT and that it would be delivered back to be by lunch time. The car was delivered late afternoon. Day 4 - I had to return to the garage as the repairs had left an almighty noise that sounded like a grinding. In short, please do not use this company. They are all about making money and inflating prices. If it seems too good to be true...it absolutely is. I have never used a company like this before and I will never use them again. Terrible customer service, terrible communication and terrible prices. Everything you dread about a garage is all in this one company. Do not use them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They make a huge mark up on the price of the work. They exploit local car garages and severely overcharge for the work. I paid over £600 to have my tyre pressure sensors replaced and they didn’t even work. I spent ages trying to get this resolved and had to sacrifice another days work without my car to get it sorted. When I got my car back for the second time they still did not work! I have sent multiple emails with no reply. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I will admit I was very excited about the £113 to have my car serviced back to receive the phone call after the service was complete for the £838 worth of extras was not something I wanted to have him in the middle of my working day. When I got the phone call the guy said we needed to talk about how to make your car roadworthy. I actually had to go into another room to take the phone call because I was so shocked at what he was saying. How I’d neglected my car how they were liable as the car was not roadworthy, the many things that were wrong with it. The money he was telling me over the phone was shocking me. I remember saying my car is working fine. Unfortunately, I did pay the £210 to have my major break fluid service complete. I felt way too much pressure to make this decision. But after leaving work I found out I could’ve done this for about £80. I changed the air filter on myself outside the shop which cost me £12 and service not wanting to do it for 150. The pollen filter that they’ve told me it needs to be replaced cost £10 they wanted to charge me £135. I’m not worried to get my hands dirty. I know a little bit about cars. I wanted to write this review as soon as possible because I’m pretty sure this is disgusting what they’re doing. I shouldn’t have been scared to having to work done on my car. I would not recommend the service. I am awaiting a manager to call me back as apparently phone calls are recorded. Furious!

Started with the booking, which was seamless then the person who came to collect my car (Mark) was on time and very polite. Then a member of staff ,Gary gave me a call to bring up to speed with the situation surrounding my car. He was vert detailed, easy to understand and very helpful. He answered all my questions and maintained a sound level of professionalism. This is my second time using service stop and i have no regrets.

Very disappointed and ashamed of your business as it seems that no one has the basic common sense to do the right thing I paid over £780 pounds to change the whole mirror and casing unit of the left passenger side mirror and indicator and a full fledged human put a different colour on the car and brought back my car. When I asked the driver why a difference colour of mirror was attached to my car, he replied his job was to pick and deliver the car I have tried reaching any one at this business but no response. I will keep trying by any means possible as this mirror will need to be changed or removed and my money refunded Look at the picture below, someone cannot tell the difference between navy blue and whatever colour that is As a follow up concerning my last review, stated above. The garage contacted me a few days later, arranged to pick up the car. Which they did two days later and a week later. on the 2/04/23 , they brought my car back with the mirror/ indicator on the passenger side having the right colour. See picture below For this I am extremely grateful and decided to update my last review to reflect this. The total cost of work done on this car was £1810, service, MOT, and change of the passenger side mirror which I was told cost over £780. Everything is overpriced and they give no room for negotiation or verification neither did I receive a breakdown of what the payment was for, in writing. My advice, be careful and pay attention to details, which I did not.

Have to say not overly impressed, vehicle was picked up on time which was good , driver who collected was nice , in terms of the service side of things , when I booked the interim service on the website I paid for the service ahead of the pick up day. The oil came to an extra charge as well as engine flush so in total worked out £100 more than the price I paid already. This wasn’t my issue if I am honest, the gent who called me to tell me what “extra” work needed doing just felt like he was reading off a piece of paper, quoted me for work that didn’t actually need doing which was confusing- a brake fluid change which was done in December ? Anyways I stomached the extra cost for essentially an oil change as they already had the car. Paid for the oil change costs at 1.15pm, and at 2pm I arrived at my house to find the car parked in the drive with the key posted through the letterbox , I found that to be a very fast 45 minute oil change and return of the vehicle , no paperwork to speak of either to see where the car was taken in terms of garage. I also didn’t appreciate being offered £10 to leave a review by the gent who called me from service stop , basically just makes me think I’m being bribed for good feel back. The concept of the business is good but I think there is a lot of corner cutting in this , physically think that it’s impossible for a mechanic to perform an engine flush, oil change as well as relevant paperwork / checks and return the car in 45 minutes. Makes me wonder if the service required light is just turned off. I’ve asked other customers of service stop the same questions and they have the same feedback. Something for them to look at. Personal overall experience puts me off going with them again. Paid in total nearly £250 for an oil change ? Could have just gone to the local dealership for the same. Yes it would need me to take the car myself but in reality the service and work is tenfold better and gives the vehicle more value in the long run. Disappointed

Servicing stop were great. They contacted me quickly after my booking, and due to no availability the following day, offered me another date which I accepted. Someone came to collect my car and it was taken to a garage for work to be carried out. There was a bit of a cost afterward due to fluid changes and flushes however it was to be expected. The service was quick and efficient and am currently awaiting for my car to be delivered back to me, quicker than expected! I would recommend their services due to great communication, quick and efficient and easy to use the online system for and booking and payment. The person who contacted me regarding the changes that needed to be made was great and helpful. Thanks Daniel.

Booked for a full service with service stop. Was advised that the vehicle would be picked up between 8am-9am, however the guy didn’t arrived until 2:30pm that day. Was advised at 11am that the driver was on his way to collect. Serious lack of communication. Received a phone call to advise additional work would be required and the total cost would now rise from £159 to £1200z Returned my vehicle the next day and I noticed they had damaged the interior leather on the door. Avoid at all costs.

Extremely unpleasant experience having my car serviced by this company. I booked for an interim service, my car was supposed to be picked up on 1 July 2022, but the guy never came and they never notified me about it. I tried calling and emailing, but the number never worked and the email response was very slow. Eventually, I got a call from Chris who managed to get me booked in for pick-up on 4 July. This time the guy did come, but he was an hour late. When the car was in the workshop, I've been advised that there were additional work required: 1. change oil sump (£127.19), 2. change engine oil to "special oil" (£29.99 - what so special about it? Oil change was supposed to be included for free!) 3. change brake fluid (didn't quote price, but I just had my brake fluid changed a week prior elsewhere and they were obviously chancing with that!), 4. flush engine (£99 - nope thanks) I was surprised by the additional costs, so I said I'd just go for the engine oil change, but was still forced to pay for the oil sump change (£127.19) as Chris said the car wouldn't run unless that was refitted - "you left me with no choice" was what he said. Car returned eventually, but again an hour or two later than scheduled - I left the house and the guy just popped the key into my mailbox. The story didn't end here. Whilst on the workshop day Chris told me over the phone "your car is running perfectly," the day later when I was driving, the car showed the engine warning sign as well as the spanner warning sign (see attached). I emailed Chris again for an explanation and potential compensation, but he never replied ever after. I will not use their service again. Extremely poor customer service and irresponsible attitude. I won't bother taking them to the court as it's just going to cost more unnecessary time, but we shouldn't let them get away with this. You have been warned and I really hope this review helps.
