Hi all who cannot book an appointment. You can use system online SYSTMNONLINE, never had a problem, they have linked medical centres where you can get appointment even same day. Today I had an appointment in Mace street clinic for a fisrt time. I had a good experience, Dr Iqbal Musharraf was professional and I got prescribed medication.

What the hell is this new system, can't book a GP appointment till 6weeks for F2F. Is ridiculous what do they do all day in this surgery because the waiting is always empty. This use to be a good Dr's which has now gone down in my opinion. Drs no longer want to see patients and send everyone to A&E

My husband can’t get through on any day or is in a massive queue! He hangs up the phone. It’s ridiculous that you can’t get an appointment! He’s been I’ll for weeks, better off just going up the walk in!!!

Getting an appointment is ridiculous, I have in writing a letter that says I can still book appointments over the phone but once I finally get through they say I have to book online. I have told them I have had problems trying to book appointments online aswell. When you send off any samples waiting for results they dont contact you to let you know. Knowone seems interested in helping you, just want to get rid of you.

Useless development check for baby, when receive letter about development check of baby, it said to not be shy and ask questions, well don’t bother, she can’t answer any… all she knows how to do is measure and check weight, well I can do that myself, pointless visit….

I've joined Mace street for almost 3 years since relocating from up North. I must say I have nothing but praises for this surgery. The receptionist staff are very helpful and answer questions best they can. The online appointment booking system is absolutely fab! No issues booking appt for when required. Dr. Padley (female) such a gem! She is very thorough in what she does. Her patience and passion to provide the best care possible to the patient is exceptional. 5* without a doubt.

On Monday the 3rd we had an awful run in with this usually okay GP surgery. Firstly we went in to speak to someone however when I walked in the receptionist was too busy chatting to pay attention to the patient stood in front of her, even when myself and my sister approached the desk she still continued to chat rather than tending to the patients, I work in a healthcare environment and know how you're supposed to act - this is not acceptable. On this day my nephew who is vary rarely ill was extremely ill, unable to keep any solid food or liquids down and was complaining of severe stomach cramps and back pain. When we went in the receptionist only asked how old he was and advised us that he would not be seen at the surgery and we would need to call 111. We went home and called 111 who advised us that due to his symptoms he would need to be seen by the GP within the hour and if they refused we should call him back. This time I contacted the surgery and advised them of what we were told by the 111 operator, again I was asked how old my nephew was and was told to 'hang on one minute' she muted the phone for a split second and came back to say 'he will not be seen at the surgery today, you will have to go to the walk in centre.' I cannot tell you how disgusted I am that we had to wait in the walk in centre for over an hour despite being told by the operator at 111 that he needed to be seen within the hour, I am also disgusted at the fact that the receptionist did not even have the common decency to check with a doctor before dismissing my panicked sister, you need to send your staff on empathy courses and train them in basic human decency. A full complaint has been filed.
