   Absolutley disgusting...had my telephone appointment put back every week for over a month! Then today i get a call from manjit gill to tell me i have high cholesterol when the phone call should have been about the ultrasound scan i had for an abcess on my face!! When i tried to explain she just kept talking over me...told me i was rude,then put the phone down on me. Not very proffesional at all. Went in to complain,the secratary was lovely then doctor gill came out with the know it all attitude asking me to leave. I am not rude,but when you cant make yourself heard and people dont listen what do you expect? Horrendous place....stay away!!

   Waited for appointment for infected cyst 2 weeks and just before the appointment I got strong pain in my ear. Asked the doctor Mohammad Ahmed to check it (it takes a few seconds to see if there’s an infection) but he refused and said- 1 problem at the time only. So having pain on Friday evening should I book another appointment in 2 weeks and suffer from pain all this time? And what should I do all this time before the appointment? Otitis pain is unbearable Besides, looking at my cyst he said I have nothing and good to go. I showed him scans from 2 different specialists where was written “sinister features” and “abscess” and only after that he referred me to a dermatologist. A receptionist hang up when my husband tried to call and complain. Completely useless and shameful service! Unprofessional and low level, avoid!

   Staff at Dudley Wood Surgery reception were polite, cheery, helpful and understanding- quickly finding me a same-day telephone appointment to check on my on-going health needs. Dr Kalsi is a well spoken, thoughtful Doctor, who listens well and asks questions to build a complete picture of how he can support and help. He also has an excellent dry sense of humour whilst providing professional advice and thorough medical expertise. The practice has definitely developed since my first visit and the follow-ups have been most welcome. Thank you, All!

   No appointments ever available, ring and get spoken to rudely. Was left with an infection for over months without follow up when I asked to speak to a doctor regarding got told no and hung up on. Ended up moving doctors. But months later received a phone call demanding to speak to my 6 year old daughter. When I declined and pointed out she was asking to speak to a child - hung up AGAIN. Since moved my Dad from the surgery after refusing to adjust his prescription per specialists advice. They randomly just arranged an appointment for him and when he rang to explain he had moved surgeries so doesn’t require the appt. He was spoken to rudely and told he was wasting their time and had the phone slammed down on him. If you want a doctors surgery that treat you with compassion, who are trustworthy and offer a genuine experience then DO NOT USE THIS SURGERY!

   The staff on reception are so lovely and helpful, the doctors are extremely attentive and I’ve always received amazing care. Like any other doctors, it’s hard to get an appointment without having to wait a week or two but the care is second to none.

   We moved the whole family to Dudley Wood Surgery c.8 months ago, very glad we did. The staff on reception are both friendly and helpful as are the doctors and nurses we have seen.

   This should be 0 stars. The service I received from this GP surgery was disgusting. I sent in a urine sample on Monday as I had a suspected UTI and was also pregnant, no appointment with a GP was available so I was told I would have to call back the next morning. The next time evening I have severe cramping, I rang the surgery again to be told ‘you will have to call at 8am tomorrow to see if we have an appointment’ I went on to ring 111, where I ended up in an emergency GP appointment to receive antibiotics. The next day I had more problems so I rang this GP again, and was told to ring back again at 8am the next day. I rang 111 again where I was sent to the urgent care centre at Russell’s hall hospital, where I went on to suffer a miscarriage.. fast forward to this morning, 5 days later, I receive a text from Dudley wood saying that my initial urine sample needs to be repeated, so could I send in a new one today. I rang the surgery to tell them what I had been through this week, and all I received was “oh, I’m sorry”. I understand that the NHS is so stretched and there’s a lack of GP’s at the moment, but the service (or shall I say lack of) and attitudes I was met with was disgusting.

   Doctor Kalsi Called me exactly on time and was very thorough garnering the problems from me, it is reassuring we have a GP who puts his patients first. I think the office should complain about the quality of their line, certainly the line Dr Kalsi rang me on was far from clear with permanent buzzing and needs checking. Problems contacting by phone seem to be ironed out.

   Have been very disappointed with this surgery and it only seems to be getting worse. There is only 1 decent and very lovely receptionist and the nurses are always different locums. Dr Kalsi in my opinion is appalling and really does not listen to his patients or their concerns. I have left this surgery in floods of tears on many occasions because of how they belittle you. As soon as I am able to I will be trying to find a GP elsewhere.
