If I could give this doctor surgery zero stars believe me I would. I have complex medical and mental health needs, I have bipolar, unstable emotional personality disorder and psychosis, I went 2 weeks ago as my mental health declined that bad the noises in my ears and seeing shadows and piercing screaming because I’ve been on diazepam for many years which has helped with my stability and I’ve been through a lot like my son passing away and my mom and nan died a year later and 2 days apart and I became suicidal and planned my own funeral because life without my son and mom wasn’t worth living anyways 2 weeks ago I seen the nurse due to chest infection and I also explained the noises and seeing people was back and it’s because dr mittal won’t give me my diazepam because it’s highly addictive and it’s his name across the door and it’s his surgery and he will prescribe it if he wants to even though mental health has sent him a letter stating not to touch my medication but he said he doesn’t care it’s his name on the prescription and let me tell you that heather Hammett practice manager was also in the room at that time anyways I told him that I need my full dose of 10mg a day and I become suicidal without it and he went on to tell me well go on then go kill yourself as he sat back in his chair with a smirk on his face like it’s a game to him and I told dr Google aka dr mittal that he shouldn’t be a gp if he thinks that’s ok to say to someone who previously tried to take their own life because every day is a struggle and it’s absolutely a disgrace that the practice manager was in the room and felt what he said was appropriate because she did not tell that it was disgusting what he said instead she lead me out the door and I phoned my partner crying because if a doctor tells you to go kill your self when they are there to help and don’t act in the best interest of the patient then why are they a doctor and also all the staff are under dr Google and side with him even though he is vile and shouldn’t be a doctor because what doctor doesn’t no what any patient has and fobs them off and has to look everything up on Google! I will escalate this and I’m not going to stop until he is stripped of his doctor license and that heather Hammond is sacked for not speaking up for The patient and what he said! PLEASE DO NOT HO WITH THIS DOCTORS AVOID AT ALL COST PLEASE

Dr used unrelated, outdated information to avoid ordering a test that’s clinically indicated- I felt very unheard and not taken care of while requesting an appointment about and iron deficiency/anaemia with already having a heart condition. I have been with this surgery for 19 years. The GP dismissed my concerns, referred to outdated blood tests that did not assess iron, and ended the call abruptly without allowing me to explain my symptoms. I was not even given the opportunity to present symptoms and was dismissed without assessment.

As another review says This man hides behind the nurse and my health has deteriorated. I would not recommend this doctor’s surgery at all! Stay away.

I would give it zero stars if I could. Dr Mittal will not allow you to speak, he will talk over you and dismiss every symptom you have. You had to overly justify yourself as to why you’re requesting a certain test, whether that be a stool sample test due to bleeding or a simple blood test because of constant tiredness. Every time he has told me to go and personally see him, I’m always seen by the nurse instead. This man hides behind the nurse and my health has deteriorated. I would not recommend this doctor’s surgery at all! Stay away.

Doctor Mittal has been my GP for 14 years and he’s an amazing doctor. The nurses and staff are wonderful. Thank you all so much ❤️❤️

I have never had any problems at this surgery. Always get an appointment within a day when I need it. Always have a call with Dr Mittal before an appointment is booked to assess who it is best for me to see. Dr Mittal is a little eccentric but that does not take away from the fact that he is a good doctor who has served our family well. Receptionists are fine too, I may have had one instance where a particular one came across as rude but it is not a personality contest I just want to know that my family and I are receiving good care and we always have.

I joined the practice nearly 2 years ago which was in the middle of the pandemic. I have been fortunate enough to have received really good and supportive care particularly when I was very poorly with covid and being admitted to hospital as a result. Since then I have had to have ongoing care because of long covid and I have found them to be very responsive to my health care needs

I'm extremely disappointed with the service received from this GP. He doesn't listen. He talks very fast and doesn't allow you to explain your symptoms in full. I felt fobbed off by him. I understand the pressures the NHS are under but this is unacceptable. Not Listening can be dangerous as things can be easily missed. Imagine I only recently registered with them and left the surgery 2 weeks later. Absolutely awful experience. I want a GP who listens to how I'm feeling and one who cares. I didn't get this impression here. The only nice thing about the surgery was Angie the lovely receptionist. She was very kind, friendly and appeared more caring than the GP. Thanks Angie and keep up the good work.

I have given three stars for a few reasons, one i call at open time and always get Same day appointments, two doctor Mittal is a great doctor. Three some off the staff are very impolite and rude. The surgery in my opinion needs to replace a couple of staff and also needs a make over. Not knowing the lady's name the works on reception but she wears glasses and is about 50 years old, this is the one thats comes across rude mainly and needs a course in customer service. Also the nurse that works at probert Road surgery (Sr. Raynor Nutting – Qualifications: RGN, BSc Specialist Practitioner, Nurse Prescriber, Midwife) is very nice and listens very closely. I've never waited more than 20 seconds for someone to answer the phone. Thank you
