   I’ve had my hair cut here for a few years and always get a consistent good quality cut. Karl and Paula are a lovely couple who create a relaxed atmosphere. When I mentioned that our autistic daughter was struggling to attend hairdressers due to sensory difficulties they offered to help… Building on many years experience of supporting neurodivergent children they talked me through how they would support my daughter and today after almost 3 years without a haircut she achieved it !!! They were both so welcoming, calm, relaxed and friendly and importantly as a parent I knew they understood. She left with a fresh look and a beaming smile. I cannot recommend this local business enough. 6 stars!!!

   Absolute fantastic people who made us feel at ease with our autistic son after a bad experience a couple of days before in another barbers. Could not have asked for a better welcome, friendly and excellent service. Was able to rearrange our appointment last minute. It’s a shame we never found these sooner as they was excellent

   Wow what can I say. I have nothing but praise for Karl @the grooming Gurus. I booked in for his Grooming Grooms Man package.on the morning of the wedding. And I wasn't disappointed ..I left the salon 10 years younger, fresh , relaxed ready for the big day ahead. Karl went above and beyond and even opened up the salon an hour early...I even got the wife's approval... I was trimmed. .. plucked , waxed , steamed , masked .. hot towelled and sprayed with Aftershave. I highly recommend.

   Our little boy loves going to get his hair cut with Karl and Paula. From day 1 (when he was very nervous for his first cut, as were we) he's been made to feel very special. They always make it a very enjoyable experience and go above and beyond! We feel so very lucky to have this wonderful barbers on our doorstep. My husband has now also started to get his hair cut here too. We would highly recommend to anyone.

   Our 2 year old boy tends to get a bit overwhelmed when it’s time to have his hair cut and he has found our local barbers challenging. We booked in with Karl and Paula after coming across the Grooming Gurus on Facebook as they have a reputation for being amazing with children who are still new to the barbers. From the moment we walked in we all felt at ease and they talked us through the process beforehand to make sure that our son had a positive experience to build on. Karl and Paula were very calm and patient with him and it made for a very positive appointment and a great haircut at the end. Thank you to you both, it is very much appreciated! - We couldn’t recommend The Grooming Gurus enough.

   My little grandson can get very upset having his haircut but jumped in the chair to have his cut the other day ,his cousin was in the other chair with Karl, confidently chatting about what he wanted doing and I'd just had a trim , blo dry and hair straightened by lovley Paula ( while waiting for the boys to arrive) . We all left Happy looking lovley for a family night out . Thank you Paula and Karl xxxx

   Our experience here was fantastic, we took our son for his first haircut and we will definitely be back. Karl and Paula were absolutely brilliant with him, were engaging with him waving through the window before he was even in the shop. Our son was relaxed the whole time and we would recommend them to anyone. His hair looks fantastic, their shop is very clean and they were great with our son. Many thanks
