   Avoid if you value your property and personal safety. Took my car in for an MOT and for two new front tyres. I was told immediately that they had to take the car to another centre nearby as they couldn't test it there, which seemed odd. I then had a call from the member of staff to say it was ready but there was a locking wheel nut missing on a rear wheel. He mumbled something and said he would explain when I got back. Upon arrival, this person had mysteriously been sent home. I looked at the wheel and the locking nut was indeed missing. We had both looked closely at this wheel and tyre when I arrived at the garage, and the nut was not missing then. I spoke to the staff still present, who were immediately dismissive. I could see that the bare bolt in the wheel was clean and shiny, as if the nut had just been removed. The staff there were afraid to look at it, as if not to admit I was right, so I took a photo. The conversation then took a turn with the owner referring to me as an ignorant customer. He then squared up to me and pushed me, hit my arm several times when I tried to keep him away from me, and repeatedly over pronounced his Ps so that he spat in my face. His younger colleague who was clearly embarrassed by his bosses behaviour, also assaulted my son and I, by grabbing and pushing us several times. When trying to pay for the work so that I could leave, the owner then decided I could not pay by card, but he wanted cash. I have this all on video, where he clearly states he was just doing it to be difficult. My son attempted to withdraw cash from two different locations, but these were not working. The owner kept us trapped there for over half an hour, refusing to take card payment, just so that he could continue with his aggressive behaviour and weak attempt at being threatening, trying to cause me as much stress and anxiety as he could, and clearly enjoying himself. Eventually, he made me sign a note saying I paid happily, before allowing us to make payment and take my car. I added to his note, "so that I can have my key back", and signed it. This was some form of controlling behaviour, and a desperate attempt to try and cover his tracks by making me sign something. He kept claiming his CCTV would show my wheel nut was missing when I arrived, but refused to let us all view it at the time. I told him I would apologise if it was already missing. When I got home, he sent me some clearly photoshopped stills, where one wheel nut had been shaded out. It is even a different wheel nut to the one that is actually missing. I would advise everyone to avoid this place. Aggressive owner, who becomes violent and threatening when his poor behaviour and service is challenged. I should have read the recent reviews from other customers, describing similar behaviour. A report has been submitted to the DVSA.

   I've been using OZ MOT Centre for years after a recommendation from a friend. I couldn't be happier with the service given and the way they look after my cars. They treat my cars as if it's their own, the work carried out is perfect and the cost is extremely reasonable given the work carried out. I'd happily recommend them.

   AVOID!!!! This garage needs to be looked into by the DVSA and the DfT. The owner is extremely rude and lacks professionalism, how dare anyone speak to customers in such a demeaning way. There is no accountability or gratitude for the fact that customers are trusting them with their vehicles. When challenged on the service provided, the owner said, “I can do what I want.” NO, SIR! YOU CAN'T DO WHAT YOU WANT! When running a MOT service, you're governed by the DVSA & DfT, so humble yourself and run your business with integrity. His son was not helpful either, simply enabling his father’s poor behaviour. This garage should be avoided at all costs. Very dodgy and intimidating, behaving more like thugs than respectful business owners. Customers spend their money ans trust you with their vehicles for an honest company to do an MOT - The cheap price here comes from failing MOTs unnecessarily and exaggerating the repairs needed. Stay away from these people at all costs. Shame on you!

   Been using OZ M.O.T. guys for about 5 years now after they were recommended by a friend.Got fed up with the extortionate prices garages seem to be charging these days. Always honest, clean and fair priced. I have no problem using them, and recommending them again.

   My mum attended today due to not realising my car was long overdue an MOT, they fitted her in right away and after a quick pre inspection they advised, supplied and fitted 4 new tyres,-checked and carried out a full MOT. She was extremely pleased with there friendly, helpful, honest and quick approach to getting her back on the road safely. She’s was so pleased she’s already signed up to there yearly reminder for another MOT and she would highly recommend them to everyone. thanks guys Kem at OZ MOT Center
