We trusted this firm because they handled the conveyancing when my partner’s mother passed away, so returning to them felt like the right thing to do. Looking back now, it was a decision we deeply regret. From the start, the experience was incredibly frustrating. We contacted the solicitor, and Steve told us to email the details, which we did right away. Then… silence. After a week with no reply, we called again and were reassured they would get back to us soon. They didn’t. Two more weeks went by. We chased again, hoping for even the slightest update, and were once again told they’d be in touch. We tried to be patient, thinking maybe they just needed more time. But after nearly 5 weeks of waiting, we called yet again, only to be told Steve wasn’t in the office and to try the following Monday. We did, and still nothing. Then, out of nowhere, on Tuesday, we received a brief email saying they couldn’t help us and that we should look for another solicitor on the Law Society website. After 5–6 weeks of waiting, hoping, and being repeatedly dismissed, that was it. They wasted our time, added stress and showed an alarming lack of care. The communication was awful, and the whole experience felt completely unprofessional and, honestly, disrespectful.

Just been messed about, they have passed me from pillar to post, wasted my time and not helped at all. For family law I would recommend Poole Alcock. They are much friendly and more helpful. Its a shame because Howells used to be so good but both of the last two things I have gone to them for, have resulted in me feeling very dissatisfied. They wont get a third chance!

When hiring a solicitor for your own family and dealing with personal issues with children social services for discriminating against individuals that’s have mild autism and live independently for many years. I don’t have a social life and have mostly remained on my own for many years before I started building my career to earn money and work my way up my studies to pass on health and social care. I know I may not be eligible with the new policy for council to give me a higher priority when they always said I have to go private rented. Plus ever since I met my husband through my work colleague. Authorities don’t believe me and start using my health symptoms against me. I taken my daughter to the right place for help and children hospital have referred me back on child protection and taken photographs of her bruises. I still got my scars on my body from when I hurt myself when I was younger and collapsed many times. All kids hurt theirselves and when we take them for help to hospital they continue to refer to social services constantly. This is no good atal. Especially when I try asking family lawyer if my husband can share same lawyer and she said he needs to have his own lawyer form which will cost him lots of money. It’s no good. Plus this lawyer doesn’t believe me when I speak straight forward with honesty because I have been there and seen what my husband like and accepted my child like his own as not many step parents accept children from previous marriages. It does push you down on you luck and low self esteem with people just trying to break a marriage apart and get couples to have a far distance relationship. When married couples are meant to live together.

I have just used Howells Solicitors for conveyancing and Catherine Shelton and the team have been excellent. They were organised, efficient and very responsive with communication. They also gave me the most competitive quote out of other solicitors across Sheffield. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you Howells.

Howells are the solicitor of a property I am purchasing. The seller the estate agent and my conveyancers are constantly ignored and told untruths. Avoid if possible and hope that the other side in any purchase or sale aren’t using them

What ever you do just don't goto this doggy solicitors. I am writing from experience, Specially those who deal with the police matters. She sold my case for her won position Catheriona, she corrupte and sell my case for her position. I will never forget this. Also don't trust them and the South Yorkshire Police should not trust her, if If she sell my case to the police and she will also sell the police case to somebody one day.

Amy Fiddler is currently handling my medical negligence case and she is just incredible. Right from the start she has gone above and beyond, late night telephone appointments, keeping me in the loop, always available to answer questions. She genuinely cares and it makes the whole process so much easier to manage emotionally. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help me through this - 5 stars isn’t enough!

WOW where do I start with this lying disgusting firm, first of the woman on the reception called Sophie has an attitude problem and lies about what you say. She also breaks gdpr and doesn’t seem to have a clue about the process and upon telling her about appointments I’d previously had got snotty on the phone saying well you can tell me again can’t you with a vile attitude. Told her if already had an appointment only to be told all my personal information was said to a receptionist and that the individual wasn’t even a solicitor, told her how upset I was and then told there was only one solicitor I could have and she wasn’t available till the 22nd but for only 30 minutes which I’d already had so then when asking to speak to a superior then comes on the phone with an absolute disgusting attitude saying that I’d been swearing and abusive to the other person which I wasn’t at any point. Upon him saying that they won’t take my case and him getting aggressive on the phone to me. Reported!!

Chris Wong recently represented my son. The service we received was brilliant, he built up a great rapport with my son and kept me up to date with any progress, I always felt reassured after a conversation with Chris as he is very knowledgeable in the industry, it was an extremely difficult thing to go through as a parent but Chris really helped the situation and made me feel a lot more positive about everything throughout. I would highly recommend Chris as he is a very professional but down to earth individual. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to have supported us though this time and we couldn't off asked for a better outcome in such a complex case.
