   Just had an unpleasant and very expensive experience. I had my car fail on MOT because of the engine light, and I was charged £500 only because of the engine light issue. After picking up the car and driving no more than 100 meters, the engine light was back on the dashboard. I came back straight away, and the scanner was connected to the car; the fault shown had nothing to do with the service that was done. We have two possibilities here: 1. the first diagnosis was wrong, or 2. they damaged something to cause the current fault. Not to mention that in the first place, I had asked for an engine oil and filter replacement, which was not done because "it was not a priority". The engine light was "cleared"; and I mentioned that I would be back for the oil change, and I would like to issue with the engine light to be rechecked/fixed. Obviously, the engine light came back on (in my view first diagnostic was wrong), and according to them, I would have spent £119 more to have it fixed. The first diagnostic was thermostat/temp sensor, which I've never seen on the scanner I have (the other issue I had seen before). This is not to mention when I was contacted over the phone with comments, "you can think about it (the quote), it's an old car, with a few miles on the clock", which is a very unprofessional comment to make. Every mechanic knows that miles on the clock are relative. These are the comments of someone who worked for 10+ years as a mechanic and has a Mechanical Engineering degree, which gives a pretty good idea about what happens under the bonnet of a car. Final words here: I wouldn't recommend this garage.

   I brought my car to Milestone Auto Services in Dartford due to a P2002 error and engine management light few weeks ago. Despite multiple visits and various parts replaced, the issue persists, and the management light remains on. Each time, they assured me the problem was fixed, but it wasn't. I've wasted numerous workdays shuttling back and forth, only to be charged a hefty sum for essentially no resolution. Don't trust this company; they'll only take your money without fixing anything.

   I booked my car - a 2017 audi A5 2.0TD - to replace the EGR valve and cooler which I knew it was an extremely difficult and lenghty job in these types of engine as the valve is positioned underneadh the engine wihout access to it, shame on Audi for the poor design. Milestone was very professional and honest, I saved a lot of money compared to the main dealer plus they ended up spending more time than quoted for which they insisted to keep up the original quote as they care about their own customers, unlike Audi. I am very happy overall and I cannot recommend enough this garage. Guys support local businesses and take your car to Milestone Auto Service.
