   I’ve been using Garage 28 for years now. Alex has done work on all our cars. Two weeks ago I had a water leak in my polo. I stupidly put rad weld in. From there it got worse and started properly overheating. I took it to Alex who quickly found the problem as all the water cooling pipes were clogged up. Both water pumps were broken. One that had caused the leak and the other that I had caused by putting in the gunk. He called me to let me know what the problem was. He was very diplomatic explaining what I’d done wrong. He completed the work which included flushing and cleaning all the crap from the system and replacing the water pumps. He did a service on it. Alex’s labour charges are very fair compared to most. When I got the car back it drove beautifully and smooth. Thank you Alex and Garage 28 for not making me feel too foolish and quickly repairing my car for a fair price. I won’t go anywhere else and thoroughly recommend Alex and Garage 28.

   One of the most honest, knowledgable and meticulous garages around. I originally used Garage Twenty Eight for some repairs on a car after being let down by poor service elsewhere. However now entrust them for everything - Servicing, Repairs, Diagnostics and MOT. Alex has now gone above and beyond on multiple occasions and can’t recommend him enough for all the assistance provided over the years.
