Lovely normal barbers. Chatty team. Seems to be in an inflation bubble charging prices from yesteryear. Unusually good value. Highly recommend.
Cut my little one’s hair which is really curly , lady was so good with him and did an amazing job il be taking him back!
It's one of the best gent barbers I've been to. All the 3 women who work their are friendly and good hairdressers. Plus, compared to your rip-off cash-only(?) Turkish(?) barbers. The Village Barbers are really good value for money.

Brilliant local Barbers with very friendly staff. No need to book - just turn up in opening hours. Good value too and they give kids a lollipop after their haircut (which is the main reason my boys want to go!)

I fully agree with the positive comments about these hairdressers. I’ve always had o good haircut there and the price has been fine. THE THING I WANTED TO SAY WAS : WHEN BARBERS ARE ALLOWED TO OPEN (4 July 2020), IF THERE IS A RUSH TO GET ONE’S HAIRCUT, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE A PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL ETC TO HAVE BOOKED IN ADVANCE. 11th Oct 2022 Above review outdated now, but only as regards my comments about Tel numbers etc being shown. The haircuts, friendly service and reasonable prices are still second to none. Now that lockdowns are practically a thing of the past, there is no problem getting served and no appointments are necessary. On Tuesdays pensioners have preferential rates.
