We had an incredible stay at Blyth Hall in August 2025 during our wedding at Shustoke Barn. The team are fantastic - showing us round the property (twice) and answering all of our questions. Nothing was too much trouble, and the team are incredibly flexible where they're able to be. Super welcoming and made our wedding so memorable. Thank you!
We stayed at Blyth Hall the night before and the night of our wedding (at Shustoke barn) and it was such a great decision. All of the rooms at Blyth hall were great, and there were plenty of bathrooms, which meant that it was easy for everyone to get ready in the morning. There was also plenty of space for everyone to relax. The bridal suite was incredible, and having an adjoining room to get ready in on the morning was great, as we had so much space. The large kitchen was great too, with plenty of space for everyone to sit around and talk (and have a fry up!) The atmosphere was relaxed, and we had a lovely walk around the grounds along the river on the day before the wedding. We would highly recommend staying at Blyth Hall!
Blyth Hall was absolutely perfect for our wedding. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are superbly finished, and the Bridal Suite is wonderful - the large lounge area is perfect for bride and bridesmaids to get ready, the main bedroom is lovely with a huge, very comfortable bed and the bathroom is also very large and luxurious. The downstairs rooms have the wonderful feel of a home rather than a hotel, so you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The dining room has a real wow factor with plenty of room for 30 at the table. We booked a duo to play live music for us which worked very well in the lounge. We also hired a private chef who loved the layout of the kitchen and the level to which it is equipped. The people who work at the hall are just so helpful and thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they helped the weekend go as smoothly as we could have imagined. Thank you so much to all the team at the hall who were so helpful throughout - we very much hope to be back, and would 100% recommend you.
We enjoyed a wonderful large family gathering of 4 generations at Blyth Hall. Everything was fabulous from initial enquiry to departure time. Responses were always prompt and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. This high level of service and attention was maintained throughout our visit. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed many walks and outside games with the little ones. There was a good range of indoor and outdoor games provided and we also brought our own. The house was perfect for us. Almost all of the rooms were en-suite and all of the rooms were large with very comfortable beds and beautifully decorated. Bathrooms were all of a very high standard - great showers and no issues with constant supply of hot water. Living accommodation was spacious, well furnished and equipped. We would not hesitate to go back to Blyth Hall should we wish to plan such a gathering in future.
Our stay at Blyth Hall in August, in conjunction with our wedding at Shustoke Barn just a minute down the road, was nothing short of magical. William was an incredible host, ensuring our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The facilities are outstanding, and the house is wonderfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for any occasion. We are already talking about returning for another stay!
