Firstly, the EV chargers are a nightmare. There are 3 posts serving 6 spaces. Only one of the posts work and only if you download the app. The credit card payment on the posts themselves doesn't work. I even phoned the technician support and whilst they could turn one of the other chargers on remotely, they could see it wasn't accepting payment. There were two of us trying at the same time and the other person was a regular who said they had been like that for ages. The other issue is you can't charge more than £30 worth so I had to go out and restart the charging a second time to fully charge up. The hotel looks nice enough and the restaurant was nice for both the evening meal and breakfast. The rooms however are really run down. The extractor in my bathroom was hanging off the wall, as was one of the wall lights above the bed. I was surprised that there is no phone in the room. The shower was hot and powerful but be warned the sides of the bath are quite high and some might struggle to step in. Given it is only 15 minutes from the NEC, the price was reasonable. It's just a mixture of goods (having EV chargers, the restaurant) and bads (EV chargers unreliable, run down rooms)

Had a recently refurbished room which was OK, but lighting levels lacking for wife to do make up. Bathroom lacked anywhere to hang towels , thus they were on bed when arrived. No where to put toiletries needs a shelf in bathroom. Door swings onto basin and rubber stop stuck on basin (!) to prevent impact ineffective. Still refurbishing rooms so at 8 am hear materials being moved around and bang on 9 power tools start up ! Restaurant a tad expensive for what you get . Was served a glass of red wine with a head on it , remains of an old bottle still fermenting ! Was changed without question when I mentioned it . Hand fit NEC and booked with Expedia credits so cost next to nothing for 2 nights .A Costa 100m away and an Orliens restaurant 10 mins walk away , a McDonalds also near by . Would we stay again , probably if going to NEC and could get it cheap, but would eat elsewhere.

The rooms are a serious health hazard — the carpets are visibly dirty, the walls are mouldy, and everything smells awful. The glass doors leading outside don’t even close properly. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to sleep here, not even for free, let alone pay for it. The pub within the hotel itself seems fine, probably renovated recently, and the staff are okay, but that doesn’t make up for how disgusting the accommodation is.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The receptionist right from the minute I walked thru the door was so welcoming and helpful! The bed was really comfy! Couldn't fault my stay at all it was just lovely.

Rooms 224 and 226 were abhorrent!!!! Upon arrival the Hotel looked exactly as the online pictures showed. Once into our rooms .. Gobsmacked was an understatement. Having been told the bedrooms were being renovated .. clearly these 2 rooms had been missed. No welcome Letter, No phone, No hairdryer. Kettle had limescale and the Pat Testing label had been ripped off. Obviously hadn’t been checked for years. Filthy, dirty, dusty, threadbare and stained carpets and holes in the walls. Inside wardrobe filthy, lampshade dented and stained. Curtains falling off and didn’t shut properly. TV would turn on but no chance of turning it off because batteries were dead. Mattress was lumpy and felt every spring and mattress protector was stained. Bathroom dirty … no pedal on the pedal bin. The toilet roll holder was hanging off in one room and the other room there wasn’t one. Extractor in one room but the other room never had one. No plug in the bath and plug (separate) didn’t fit the sink. High pitched noise when sink taps on and the loo didn’t flush properly and had a weird smell. Informed 3x different Receptionist’s … the owners daughter (one of the receptionist’s) couldn’t care less and tried to make me pay £30.00 for parking when in fact it is FREE on the weekend!! 2nd and 3rd Receptionist’s were lovely and very helpful. I was told it was only a 3 star hotel but would love to know what the hell they got the 3 stars for. I was told I was upgraded on arrival .. dread to think what I was upgraded from!!!! I wouldn’t let my Dog (if I had one) stay in these rooms.

Really friendly place to stay. The bar and restaurant refurbishment is lovely and food is good too. Nothing wrong with rooms but a little dated, so looking forward to them getting an update soon. Only strange thing is the shower, it is kind of impossible to get fully under it due to the way it is located on the wall. Looking forward to my next stay in a couple of weeks.

Stayed here for 5 nights during a busy work trip and it was delightful. The staff were lovely from the first contact at breakfast to a late dinner including several of the chefs who were happy to talk about their menu. Had two fantastic members of staff, Becky and Grace, who were gems all week and really made me feel at home! The breakfasts were decent, with the chefs happy to make extra items. The dinners were great, loved the pork belly! The gym/pool was nothing special but had all the basics and I used it most day. Rooms were decent.

It's a newly owned business from the one we all know. I've had two nights accommodation and although the rooms have yet to be fully refunded the bar and dinner area are now quite fantastic with good service and quality food. I'd definitely recommend popping in and making your own mind up. Also noted themed evenings with quiz nights and live music taking place.

Had to come down from Manchester to see a veterinary specialist round the corner from here, so just really needed a dog friendly place to sleep. What a lovely place this is. The dog was allowed in the bar area and we had a Sunday roast, absolutely fabulous. I had forgot that Yorkshire puddings were meant to taste like that. The rooms were lovely and I got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was lovely, everything you could want The Brassiere is so opulent, if I was local I would definitely be in there alot Looks like they have got some good Christmas events coming up as well, Gladly I don’t have to come back to that part of the world as my dog is better. But if I did I would definitely by staying here again at this little gem The staff were all friendly and couldn’t do enough So glad I hadn’t picked a big chain hotel
