    If I could give this shop one star, I would. Avoid at all costs. I visited SCS to purchase a sofa and, at first, the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, after leaving the store, I was approached by an elderly couple who shared their experience, which was extremely concerning. Nearly 12 months ago, they purchased a sofa but received the wrong one. The sofa they originally ordered was never delivered, and to this day they still have not received it. Although they were promised a partial refund, this has yet to be resolved. Instead, they have been passed from department to department, with no accountability, and were even spoken to disrespectfully. It seems the company only cares up until the point of purchase. After that, customer service is nonexistent. Based on what I heard, I would strongly advise people to think twice before buying from here. Unfortunately, Furniture Village is no better either.

    Absolutely brilliant! Ordered a sofa back in May and unfortunately on delivery it wasn't quite the right size. Went in and spoke to the team at SCS drake house and they couldn't do enough for me to resolve the issue. Today my new sofa has been delivered and we couldn't be happier with it. Lee and his team demonstrated top customer service and I'm forever grateful for their help and co operation.

    Shaun was extremely helpful but not pushy. We'd been in a few sofa shops today and put off by sales reps following us around pestering. Shaun helped us immediately, was extremely friendly and left us to make our mind up but whilst being on hand for any questions we had, and we had a few! Bought a sofa there and then, mostly because of his help and not being pushy. Without his help, we'd have probably just kept on looking endlessly.

    You know when you can tell you made a big mistake buying from a company. This is one of those times. Specifically said we couldn't take delivery till July. Then got an email last Thursday at 17:50 to say it was coming the following day. Because it was on the van I couldn't cancel it so I had ro rearrange everything and take unscheduled time off work. Then when it arrived it was damaged and I now seem to be facing a long slog getting it sorted. I complained about the unplanned delivery but was told the stores dealt with that and they'd pass my message on. Well guess what. Nothing. I've seen very many other dissatisfied customers on social media so I'd really suggest you give SCS a wide berth.

    Dreadful company, zero customer service. Impossible to contact. I bought 2 sofas, one was delivered with thick blank marks on it, the second was delivered with broken feet 'bare screws' & is incredibly uncomfortable. I was not given the chance to sit fully on the sofa on purchase as was on a stand with metal bar at the back. I want full refund on dirty sofa & either refund or exchange for the hard broken one but SCS are not listening. Cannot get reply to emails & phone contact is impossible. They don't care as they have my money. The worst company you could possibly come across. Go to DFS or anywhere else. SCS shoddy customer service.

    Excellent customer service, we bought a G Plan suite from SCS last year but have had problems with it. Hence the delay in reviewing. The faults were down to GPlan not SCS but SCS have been faultless in their resolution process and took steps to replace the suite. On purchase we got a competitive price, the suite was delivered on time and as indicated afersale service has been exemplary. I would recommend SCS to anybody and will use again.

    Very follow you around sales people, bought what we thought was an amazing comfy sofa and big arm chair thing. Came before predicted delivery date which was good and delivery men were good also. Build quality of sofa is just not on par with what is in the showroom. It squeaks, wobbles and the cushions don't seem to be lasting at all. Don't think I'd ever go back again. I bought the 'everything covered' warranty so if the issues get fixed my review might go up. _____________________________________________ Edit* After being in contact with customer service via email, everything seems to have been sorted. Service pretty good, we have the store manager calling us tomorrow to reorder the sofa.

    Go here in person and ask for Carl. Seriously, he's the only salesperson we spoke to in the retail park who actually cared about our specifications, wasn't pushing for a higher sale, and had a sense of humour! He set us up with a stock reclining sofa that was a great sales price and had it delivered to us within *three days*. We also picked up a great dining table and 4 chairs set. He made sure we understood the paperwork, talked us through insurance, and made the whole experience easy and pleasant. Paula M.
