   I’ve been here a couple times with my Nan, sometimes I get French tips and on occasion get nail art. The French tips are so classic and done so elegantly but the girl who does the nail art is so intricate and so talented, she always goes above and beyond and my nails are always gorgeous when I go here, and in all honesty I think the prices are too low for what she does x

   Not my usual salon but had a pedicure several weeks ago so decided to have my nails done. As I was strapped for time I just wanted infills. The guy wanted me to have a new set. He was shaking his head when I insisted on infills. RUDE. When removing my previous colour I flinched 3 times as the drill he was using was burning. He cut my nails so short it will be 2026 before they need doing again. When vigorously filing them down one in particular was so short he was filing skin. As stated on previous reviews they want everyone to have a new set and see how many they can make. Will never go here again.

   Would not go here, they were in a rush always worrying about the next person coming in. I went Friday and I have a chipped nail already (Sunday) the guy that runs it did my nails and only bothered about seating the next person. Bad service which I would have passed on but now my nail is chipped after two days, will not return!

   Appalling hygiene, old worn nail files were used, cuticle trimmers were only cleaned after and not before use.The head used on the file to prepare the nails also looked used and was not cleaned before work started or after. This puts your nail health at risk from infections. The place was tainted with terrible acrylic fumes. Staff were nice but talked amongst themselves. A full set of acrylics were fitted, price displayed at £23 but charged £35! We paid and I didn't make a fuss as my daughter would have been mortified. The acrylics used were not good quality. The lady that painted them did however do a good job of the polish and nail art. It was a treat for my daughter but she won't be going again. At professional beauticians all nail files are new, in the wrappers and given to client after use. Would not recommend.

   Really disappointed. I used to use this nail salon years ago, the owners were lovely and they always did an impeccable job on my nails. I stopped going as I got a job that didn’t allow me to have acrylics however after getting a new job recently that allowed me to have these again, I came back. I am not sure if this is under new management but I assume it is. The shop looks not as clean as it used to, not filthy by any means but just not as clean, I had a set done here a month or so ago and just noticed that the price and service were not great however they were my only issues so I came back last week and I got an infill done. My GEL nail paint chipped within a couple of days on two nails and today one of the nails just broke off, it didn’t hurt, I hadn’t hit it, I have no idea why this broke unless there was damage when they did the infill and instead of replacing the damaged acrylic nail they just covered this up with powder. I was genuinely shocked to see my nail snap off as there had been no trauma to the nail. Will not be coming back unfortunately after both of these experiences but especially this last occasion.

   My review may not be positive, but will be honest one. In the company profile its saying that Amazing Nails Widnes is a professional beauty salon. I booked Acrylic nails with normal polish FULL SET £23. The nail technicians wasn’t communicating too clearly in English and have been asked which colour i want and i chose the colour. When i went to pay it turns out that price is went up when they ask me about the colour and now is £30. I prepared cash £25 and my card wasn’t working. I communicate and said that I didn’t booked for different set but mine was for £23, they say because I choose colour the price is £30. I was not informed about that. Needed to go back home and come back again to pay other £5. The way the business is done is disappointing, is very quick, no communication and not proper salon hygiene. I felt that service is not orientated to customer service, but more for the money and target -to be done quickly and fast and any colour or decoration cost extra money. The positive aspects of the service was that i like my nails.
