   Worst manicure I’ve ever had. Went in for acrylic refill and nails are filed down painfully to the quick, cuticles left a mess, whole process rushed, ugly shape and patchy acrylic that is so thin in places thin the previous colour shows through and in others really thick and clunky. Was told not to worry as the nails will grow tomorrow…..!!! All done and too late to have them fixed before a wedding, I was gutted.

   HV Nails saved the day! I had a maternity photoshoot booked but my usual nail technician had cancelled last minute. I rang at 9:30am in the hope of a last minute appointment and I was in the chair by 10am! Quick soak off and shellac application at a reasonable price. Tina was very neat/thorough/clean and I was in and out. I hadn’t realised they took cash so they let me do bank transfer to save me walking to the cashpoint in the heat - thank you! I’d definitely use them again in future.

   Don't even deserve a 1. Man in there is so rude pretends he can't speak English but fluent on the phone and very good at putting phone down on you. Cut 2 of my cuticles didn't apologies ruined my nails overall disgusting oh and the price is different every time you go in. He told me to sit and wait and then told me he couldn't do them because of the colour. I walked out I hope they go out of business.

   I have never waited to long to take my seat I normally get 2/3 wks from false nails but since going to Hv nails I now get 3/4 wks its on my door step I rate them 5stars.

   This is a good place to go if you want fresh nails quick without an appointment. Mine have lasted well after 2 weeks. Cons: hygiene standards are questionable. Salon was not clean and the nail desk had not been wiped down from previous client. Because of this, my nails were left with dust flecks under my acrylic colour. I was asked to dry my nails under the light bulb of the desk lamp (not a UV hand dryer). I was also not given any cuticle oil at the end leaving my nails dry and dehydrated.
