I attended marriage counselling with Lea for roughly 11 months ending in March 2023, during that time there were only approx 4 couples sessions, this based on weekly attendance, the rest were individual sessions for us both as per her request, Lea profited greatly from this. How Lea conducted herself in my situation was reprehensible, she had no empathy or common sense, though she faked it marvellously, & the only people who suffered for her lack of self monitoring & self control were myself, my children & their dad. I was a very vulnerable client with a previous CPTSD diagnosis that wasn't managed & in hindsight beyond Lea's competence. It took a very, very long time after for me to undo the damage of my time with her as I took steps in my personal life, as per her persistent 'advice' & ultimatums, that I wouldn't have done otherwise, and this further alienated me from my already thin support network in the fallout. The counselling industry is not regulated in the UK & so long as counsellors prove they did their CPD quota each year, attend supervision & so on the BACP & no doubt NCPS don't bother to check in which is why so many counsellors think they can get away with behaving how they want while profiting from vulnerable clients. I now wonder how many reviews have been removed for this business or how many people are afraid to speak or have enough self awareness to realise how she practices because this will not be an isolated case.

Life changing. I have seen Lea for 8 months when life just became unmanageable and I didn’t know which way to turn. With Lea’s help, guidance and care I have untangled many threads and managed to make some positive changes to my life that have now changed it beyond recognition. I am happier, healthier and stronger than I have ever been. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will continue to go for ‘top ups’ when life slaps me in the face (which inevitably it will because…well, it’s life!)

I can't find a rating high enough for Lea, who as had the endless patience to work with me since 2019 when I approached her over issues in my marriage. It has been a journey, but the space and insight Lea offers, along with her vast encyclopaedic knowledge has been invaluable in helping me through almost every life event that has hit me over the last 4 years. Particularly good for those of us who have ADHD as Lea offers additional insight in this area. Calm, friendly, down to earth, caring and engaging - I can't think of anything else you would want from a counsellor that this therapy hasn't provided (above and beyond is an understatement) - Thank You Lea for your help and guidance over the last 4 years.

I have been going to therapy with Lea for a few years now since the beginning of 2020. She is brilliant, her calming energy allows me to feel at ease and able to talk openly, even about the heavy stuff. Lea has helped me through some of the most difficult years of my life, her wisdom and professional guidance is amazing and I am forever grateful for her, I cannot recommend her enough.

Lea is a wonderful therapist. Very patient, relatable and understanding. The sessions felt like talking to someone who understands you but also has the professional skills to help you be better. I couldn’t recommend more!

I’ve been attending regular supervision with Lea since 2017, and during that time I feel I’ve grown so much as a therapist thanks to her. Her knowledge and passion has been amazing in helping me develop in my practice. I’d highly recommend her as both a supervisor and therapist!
