   Recently had our kitchen done by Direct Kitchens and could not be happier with the service, quality and price. Very professional throughout and unlike many companies, we never felt like we were pressured to spend more and they really helped us to maximise storage space with a cleverly throughout out plan for a small kitchen space.    I went to Direct Kitchens as their reviews were good and I wasn’t disappointed. From the plumber Russ to the electrician Joel, the plasterer Roger and finally the fitter Dan everything just flowed. I was nervous before they started but there was no need to be. They were all amazing, polite, turned up on time and very respectful. A big shout out to Dan the fitter, apart from a couple of days when he had a bit of help he did the kitchen on his own. Amazing work. Thank you guys for making my kitchen look so fabulous.

   We came back to see Carl after having our bedroom fitted out a few years earlier and was happy with this. So when we decided it was time for a new kitchen we returned to get a quote. From start to finish it was handled extremely well, the measure, design help, fitting and both the electrician and fitter Carl was very good, courteous from start to finish. I was very happy with everything including when I raised a few concerns with what I thought might be an issue my questions were answered and I would not hesitate to recommend their services. Very good value for money

   Carl design the kitchen and nothing was a problem. It was installed the day they said it would be . The quality of the installation was first class by Callum. The kitchen looks fabulous we are really please with it . I would highly recommend Direct kitchens . Also had wardrobe and draws fitted in a bedroom and got the same quality service.

   Had full kitchen fitted with Direct Kitchens approx. 4 years ago (2016). Only just getting around to posting this now, because I’m on the hunt, again, for new worktops - am annoyed that I have to do this so soon. These faults are not a result of wear-and-tear; all were like it from day one. Sad to have to post such a negative review. The service at the time was excellent, and I love my doors, but the quality of the worktops and the finish is really, really poor. As you can see from the pictures, the joints in the worktops are very visible and can be seen easily because of the contrast between the worktop colour and the ‘inner colour’. The windowsill is shocking. We had them out to look at this and the chip in the worktop (pictured) - they re-sealed around the windowsill and filled the chip with some kind of paste, but both came off soon after. My biggest bug-bear is the tops of the splash-backs; the plastic warped within months and has snapped in several places. The appliances haven’t been great either - the dishwasher has broken twice (impeller motor failed on both occasions and had to be replaced), the tap broke by Christmas and we had to have the valves replaced, and the microwave is so loud you can’t have a conversation when it’s on. As I say, I hate having to post this. We want to support local businesses, especially at a time like this. And the staff and fitters were great at the time. But I really shouldn’t have to be replacing all worktops and splash-backs so soon, especially considering that all issues mentioned (the finish and quality of the worktops - obviously the appliances broke down afterwards, but still, within the first 12-18 months max) have been like this since day 1. We’ve just learnt to live with it, but lockdown has really emphasised the issues, hence my review and search for new now.

   We have used Direct Kitchens twice, firstly for a Kitchen and then more recently an home office. Great service from start to finish and almost 8 years after our Kitchen was fitted still getting good after sales support. Highly recommend!!
