Whilst I had an initial consultation for a sore throat, I ended up having a half thyroidectomy to remove a sizeable lump that I had no idea was there. The investigation was done in one session, quickly and efficiently, with a swift follow on, resulting in minimal concern. The operation went smoothly, with an almost immediate recovery and hardly any evidence anything had happened. I am delighted with the knowledge, communications, empathy and practicality I have received. Information sharing was pertinent and timely, meaning decisions were easy. Definitely a "safe pair of hands", with an added dose of humour. Highly recommended.
