The doctors here are brilliant. I always manage to get an appointment when I need one, and every member of staff has been consistently helpful and understanding. They take the time to listen and make you feel looked after. I would highly recommend this practice.

Excellent Care from Dr Khan Dr Khan is a credit to this surgery. He is an outstanding doctor to deal with, he is kind, caring, and courteous and has an excellent manner with patients. I always prefer seeing Dr Khan because he is so knowledgeable and takes his time to focus completely on the patient. To be honest, all the doctors and nurses I have dealt with have been attentive and very helpful. Despite the bad press Healey Surgery received over the years, in my view it was the reception/admin team who used to be the main issue. However I have seen a positive improvement in their service recently. I think it's really clear the surgery is making real efforts to get better. Keep up the good work!

Healey Surgery has had some bad press in recent years. However recently, I have found a massive improvement in their service. I make requests for appointments and medications through Patchs and they are always dealt with quickly and effectively. Hannah is a real credit to the surgery. She has an excellent manner with patients; she is kind, caring and courteous! I used to worry about contacting the surgery but now I feel reasurred especially when dealing with Hannah because she is so knowledgeable and efficient. The doctors and nurses are usually attentive and helpful. Definitely improving!

I had a positive experience every time I contacted the surgery. If you take in consideration the state of the entire NHS organisation, will probably understand why surgeries are so busy sometimes and the fact you will not get a face to face appointment every time you need one.

Does this practice even deserve 1 star? No. But doctors like Dr Khan give this practice hope as he actually cares about his patients and fully listens to you to get what you need. But the reception staff are horrible. Absolutely rude. You have to call at 8am to get an appointment but if theyβd pick up the phone once in a while that would help. Before emergency appointments was a thing but now nothing. They advised me to call 111 for them to tell me the gp is the best way for me to get help but this gp neglects you. Iβve rang all day due to the agony Iβm in and they told me theyβll get someone to call and give me advice but nothing. Iβve had to ring 111 and luckily theyβve referred me to the out of hours doctor. This practice has gone downhill since Dr Hussain retired and honestly I donβt see it changing until they get better reception staff and change a few policies or even add the option for getting emergency appointments through 111 or calling in for an emergency.

If i could give zero stars i would, rude no empathy and logistically all over the place. My father is 81 needs his bloods doing so he can go for his MRI and has been waiting nearly 2 weeks to be given the opportunity of getting his bloods done. The first time i went to request the bloods the receptionist told me "go back to the hospital " even though the letter clearly told us to go to the GP. She then said to me that his bloods have been done and the correct tests are on the letter but she would double check with the doctor and call back. Its been 2 weeks no one called back, but she told me not to worry as the tests were correct. I can called the surgery and was told that the required tests had not been done and that he needed an appointment. That is 1 week wasted waiting and wondering and then been told a different story. My father has now got so frustrated he has gone into the surgery and he said he wont come home till they take his bloods. I called the surgery to tell them this and they said "ok well let him come in we don't have anything" ZERO empathy. This is on top of previously they incorrectly told us his scan results were clear when in fact the hospital found a lump on his spine. Told us we must chase the hospital because its not their job when the hospital were clear about who should be doing the chasing. Incorrectly informed me my father had an appointment at the hospital , then called back an hour later saying that was from the previous year. Their staff are rude over worked and simply put don't seem to care anymore. There is no point complaining because the medical profession is all in chaoots nothing ever gets done. After I wrote this i remembered something else when you call them the phone message says "for prescriptions please email us " then it doesn't actually give an email address. If you go to the website for doctors there is no email address on there. if you fill in the online form they don't reply. If i used 2 previous emails i have for the surgery they all bounce back. This is crazy. This place is actually dangerous. It gets worse they have booked my father an appointment for his bloods , but they have no idea what bloods they need. Someone from the surgery called to say what bloods do you need and all i asked was do you even know what you doing and she hung up. Disgraceful

Not even worth a STAR this place called Healey surgery shocking service tbh !! Mess up your medication aswell as miss items ? How can they do this when I email them each month with ALL my items been with them for 5yrs totally gone DOWN HILL and most people will AGREE on this..messing with ppls life aswell as their heads talk about trying to kill us off slowly but surely tbh it's easier not to take my meds with it being like this ..everybody is different we ain't all the same it's a good job tbh lol...service is just terrible I know that try ringing them one day last month from 9a.m until 5.45 PM that's when they answered lol then when you do get to talk and have conversation they just put the phone down on you very FRUSTRATING ..if I had the money to go PRIVATE then I would be gone in a flash ..all this doesn't help when u have a PERSONALITY DISORDER. I only moved up here because was told it was a good surgery wish I would of stayed were I was in first place saying that wellfield surgery was just as bad but not as bad as this place am worse off since they changed my meds back to square one I am..roll on the next life it might just be alot better then this one lol..

Extremely rude staff! I've never spoke to anyone on the phone as impatient and disgruntled as I did today! Calling the GP Practice should be something you can do without feeling like you're wasting someone's time?! Do the staff get telephone training here? If you don't like your job, leave and do something else! I feel sorry for my mum who has had to deal with this surgery for so long, unfortunately the other practices in the area are no better. No doubt I'll receive a reply from a robot with an empty apology.
