I hada a gynaecological surgery in Nuffield health Oxford at the end of September and would like to admit an excellent service I revive during the time I stayed there. My doctor's Mr Izett - Key's distinguished expertise, compassion, and patience gave me reassurance and great confidence at every stage of my care. The outcome of the procedure has brought me immense relief, renewed confidence, and a sense of comfort that I had long been waiting for. Thank you for the professionalism, exceptional care and for giving me a new sense of comfort life! As well I am very thankful and blessed having the nurses Gabriel and Regina who were holding my hand through all process. Their kindness, care and professionalism made me feel secure, supported and confident.

I had an excellent experience at this hospital. From the moment I arrived, the receptionists were friendly & welcoming and set a positive tone right away. A special mention goes to Lorna in Radiology who was amazing, she was calm and considerate and helped make the procedure far more comfortable. I left feeling grateful for the outstanding care I received.

I recently had surgery on October 10th and stayed in Room 204 on the second floor. The entire team was absolutely amazing and made me feel incredibly comfortable and at ease, especially as it was my first time undergoing surgery. I can’t recall the name of my nurse, but I believe it was Nicole—she was so kind and reassuring, staying with me in the theatre area until the anaesthetist arrived. Her presence really helped calm my nerves. Dr. Graham, the anaesthetist, and Dr. Ali, the surgeon, were also both very friendly and professional. They made me feel confident that I was in safe hands. If I ever require surgery again, I would definitely choose to have it here.

From the moment I walked into reception, I was greeted with a friendly smile from the receptionist whom was very professional. Another great experience was the ward admission, once again my wife and I received with a warm welcome and friendly smile. Private ward room 315 clean and fresh and spacious. Nick nurse who took my blood pressure several times, although high, assured me all will be good. Catering young lady was full of smiles in taking my order and big thumbs up for the chef(s) as my tomato soup was divine! The experience got better with meeting nurse “Ursula Yealts” who was so warm and friendly and super efficient in making my stay as comfortable as possible. From the time getting me settled and prepared for my surgery and walking me down to surgery and collecting me afterwards back to my ward room. Most patients nervous when you step into theatre, however I received a warm welcome from theatre nurse and surgeons (Dr Marshall & Dr Ben anesthetist) and the humor that followed until I was put to sleep. Theatre recovery room was met by nurse “Samantha” once again super friendly and gentle wake up environment for me. Discharge process super professional by my surgeon and nursing staff to bid me farewell and quick healthy recovery. Loved the experience and a big Thank You! William Chambers

I have recently returned home having spent 2 nights at The Manor Hospital, Oxford to have a replacement hip. My experience was absolutely amazing, only made possible by the Nursing and care staff on the ward. From the moment I arrived and was greeted by the ward nurse Sally to the time she discharged me the care and attention was exceptional, I felt safe and comfortable. The staff throughout the hospital that I came into contact with were very professional, friendly and engaging. I should also express my gratitude to Prof. Griffin my surgeon and Simon the anaesthetist for their care and skills to make my procedure as pain and stress free as possible. Thank you all, it made a stressful time for me the best possible experience

How can this hospital not have an average 5 out of 5 review? The staff are ever so pleasant, professional and caring. I was not feeling well when I went for my x rays this week and there was a mishap; if it wasn't for the friendly and caring staff, I would have been in a pickle that day. Thank you so much for looking after me, I cant thank you enough.

My partner went for an MRI on 7th Jan and is *still* waiting for the report to be returned to his insurance company. We have both called several times, only to be told they will look into it and get back to us. The team are very friendly, but perhaps to just get us off the call. How is this possible? Would not recommend unfortunately as waiting nearly 6 weeks for results when in pain is not on.

My insurance company referred me in October, tried to get an appointment but was told I had to wait for a response from the medical secretaries. Waited three days, still no response. Called the main number 11 times, went to voicemail every time. Finally got through and got given three numbers for different medical secretaries, two went straight to voicemail and one was disconnected. Called my insurance company back and got referred to a different hospital. Finally got a response from that October call in December. In that time I'd already had my initial appointment, tests and follow up appointments at the different hospital I got referred to. This kind of service is absolutely ridiculous from a private hospital. Admin staff need to be empowered to book appointments since the medical secretaries can't be bothered to answer their phones or email.

As with other reviewers the clinical teams are great but the admin/“support” team are appalling. My consultant requested a test and I received a diagnosis over eight weeks ago. It is quite a serious issue but a very simple treatment - a two week course of antibiotics - but I am still waiting to get a prescription. I have sent numerous emails and left phone messages over the eight weeks but never had any replies or even acknowledgements. The issue is not causing further complications which I have raised in messages but it is clear that none of these have been passed on to the Consultant. I would definitely advise avoiding this “hospital” and go elsewhere even if it means extra traveling

I cannot fault the clinical team they were super efficient, kind and helpful. BUT I would not choose to be treated there again! It is a 'pain in the neck' to park in the underground park it is so small. Reception were unhelpful and had no idea who I was, after 3 futile attempts I was found by a member of the clinical team as I was then late. There are no private rooms to speak with a Doctor after tests are completed! I had to finish getting dressed in an alcove!
