I cannot recommend The Maple Dental Practice in Surbiton highly enough! Every single person there is incredibly welcoming, kind, and fantastic at what they do. I recently had a dental emergency and called them in a panic. They were absolutely brilliant and took care of everything immediately. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. Their pricing is completely transparent and offers excellent value for the exceptional care you receive. This is truly a fantastic dental practice, and I'm so grateful to have found them. I keep forgetting to leave a review, but they genuinely deserve all the praise!
Disappointing Policy and Lack of Warning I'm pretty disappointed with my recent experience. I take responsibility for missing two appointments – my fault entirely. However, when I tried to book again, I was told I'd been delisted as an NHS patient and could only book private appointments due to those missed visits. What really got to me was the lack of any warning. A simple text saying something like, "Miss this appointment and you might be delisted," would have been professional and incredibly helpful. It would encourage patients to prioritize or reschedule. When I gave this feedback, the response was that they "can't send every piece of information." I wasn't asking for an overload, just a heads-up about a crucial consequence. This experience, unfortunately, aligns with a wider trend where dentists seem to be de-listing NHS patients and pushing private care, making it harder to access basic check-ups. Ultimately, clear communication about these potential consequences is key. Staying quiet about something that results in delisting feels unprofessional. Everyone makes me feel welcome, and always makes time to chat, and provide helpful information and advice. I've been a patient at Maple Dental Practice for over 25 years. Since I moved from Surbiton, I have tried other dentists closer to home. None have come even close to Maple's service. Now under the care of Mez, I find his kind, caring, individual approach to conservative and preventative dentistry second to none. A first class practice.

I am a nervous dentist patient. I have been since I was a child. Therefore I was naturally apprehensive about (a) going to a new dentist and (b) in a different country with a different medical and health insurance system to the one I'm used to. I am so glad I made the decision to call the Maple Dental Practice and make an appointment. The receptionists were (and still are) really friendly and took the time to explain how everything works over here (generally when it comes to going to the dentist and becoming a patient and when going private). I really appreciate that as Google only gets you so far and everything works a bit differently in Britain. My dentist Kosar and her assistant Anna could not have made me feel more comfortable during the check up and follow up procedures. They are really friendly and reassuring and funny. I have never before met a dentist that is so easy to trust. Kosar really took the time to make me feel at ease by telling me exactly what she was going to do, what the plan was, and by communicating with me during and after any procedure to make sure I was ok. I also like that you get a cost estimate after your initial check up and everything is transparent. I am no longer nervous about going at all and that is thanks to Kosar and Anna who are a top team . My teeth look and feel amazing. I cannot recommend this practice enough! Thank you!!
I wish I'd registered here sooner! I've been so pleased with the quality of the dental services offered at the Maple Dental Practice and all members of the team that I have met have been so friendly and approachable, they really take the time to make you feel at ease and care about how your experience with them is. I recently had to have a filling redone and had been feeling nervous about the procedure but my Dentist fully understood my concerns and made me feel so much better before and during the procedure (it was also completely painless thanks to her expertise). I can't recommend this Dental Practise highly enough.
Seeing a relative with a mouth of blackened stumps, someone else who didn't like dentists so never went, was throughout my adult life, a warning. I found Maple Dental Practice by accident when my former one closed. I do not find change easy yet from the first time I went to the desk I was reassured by the kindness of everyone I met. I have been going for many years now and have come to appreciate the kindness and particularly the skill of all the staff. This time I have two beautiful crowns which I was unable to distinguish from the surrounding teeth. I felt safe always, confident that Kos knew what she was doing and aware that she was taking a great deal of trouble. The teamwork of dentist and assistant , particularly when trying to communicate under layers of PPE was impressive. They really do treat each patient as an individual.
