   Terrible company. They promise so much in order to get a sale but once you have paid they disappear. I waited 6 weeks for my installation date which was 21st August. The fitter came and was complaining how about Hammonds have left him to it even though he doesn't know what he is doing. 30 minutes into the fit he rang his manager to tell him he quit his job. He packed up his stuff and left damaging one of the units (by accident). Nobody from Hammonds rang me to apologise or rearrange the installation date. Instead it was me who had to chase them up. I was promised callbacks but not once did I get a call from them. It was always me who had to call them. They eventually sent someone out on the 30th August to fit it. The fitter (Chris) himself was brilliant so no complaints against him. Useless company ran by useless management. Avoid.

   I paid for wardrobes in 5 different rooms. And it didn't come cheap but I told the sales person I was willing to pay extra so as not to have any inconvenience with separate suppliers and separate fitters. So far 3 wardrobes fitted, 2 of which need a re visit to finish as the fitter was given wrong and/or faulty parts. 4th wardrobe fitter came and had totally wrong wardrobe so couldn't do the fitting. Currently should have had the 5th wardrobe being fitted today but he has not turned up and no communication. I have contacted hammonds head office to find out what is going on with the 4th wardrobe re-fit. I was promised call backs urgently. Nobody contacted me. I chased up another 3 times and all I got back was that somebody would come back to me within 48 hours. Hammonds customer service is absolutely shocking. Once the take your money, they are not bothered. I paid extra for my wardrobes so I wouldn't have any inconvenience. I've had nothing but inconvenience and a headache. Wish I'd never used them.

   Absolutely disgusting service provided by Hammond's. This company is a scam!! They have fitted in a floor to ceiling wardrobe in at my property. Firstly the workmanship is vile. They have fitted in unsanded boards, have left the wall bare behind the wardrobe along with ripped out carpet panels and the whole thing looks like a dog's dinner. How have you charged me over £5,000 to then give me interior panels which are not the colour as confirmed on the plans? From the very first meeting until the last the plan, the designer has confirmed white interior panels and a confusion over the wrong boxes being ticked left us with oak coloured interior panels. Please avoid this company at all costs as they are now demanding another £2,500 to correct their mistakes. I am absolutely disgusted by their service and their product quality. Hammond's are professional scammers. AVOID!!!

   We were very impressed with the Sheffield showroom, we mainly wanted to see the interiors, door handles and style of doors etc. Debbie was very helpful and she efficiently answered all our questions. We are hoping to get all our house fully fitted with the high quality Hammonds furniture!

   Excellent showroom. Planned out really well, to give the customer plenty of ideas of variables which are available. It is good to see the quality of the products and workmanship. Really pleasant lady in the showroom and a very knowledgeable and pleasant male who designed my fitted wardrobes. Looking forward to my fitted wardrobes being installed.
